Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

Entering it manually is a pain.
If data could be gleamed from the frontier servers this site would be indispensable.

e.g. not sure if you can use this Header
firthermore...for our Faction-status, is it possibly to extract directly from the Galaxy-systems page into our forums here on Inara?

Yes, unfortunately, there is no such option for console game versions.

-Hyades Sector AQ-Y D81
-Varati
-Witch Head Sector DL-Y D8
The location at BD-12 1172 is currently correct.
Given this, it might be wise to create a separate section for "Mega-Ships" and list their current location, or even create a separate category for them that keeps them apart from Stations/Outposts. Might prevent the need to edit each system as they travel? =)

You can import your journal file (if you are playing on PC/Mac), which also imports your inventory.

It is a custom BBcode, basically you can use everything that is on the toolbar, there is nothing more extra. For the faction status - I am planning to add a separate page directly under the wing, so some faction overview will be eventually handled that way.

Anyways, I noticed some strange behavior in my flight log and mission journal this morning after uploading the .log for last night's session. In my flight log, the times are incorrect starting at 8:00PM EDT (midnight UTC); they've jumped ahead an hour. Note the apparent delay of around an hour between docking at Aulin Enterprise and jumping to Eranin. In actuality, it was only a few minutes. Possibly related, it and the mission journal seem to have cut out after 9PM or so in actuality (10PM on the page) whereas I continued playing until around 9:45PM. I most definitely finished that planetary scan mission and I finished my journey docked at Beagle 2 Landing, not hanging out in the middle of the Asellus Primus system as the flight log would suggest.
EDIT: realized you might not be able to see what I'm talking about on my flight log since you might have a different time zone set. Here's a screenshot of the flight log, and the mission log.
At first glance, it seemed like it might be an issue with the rollover from one UTC day to the next during the same session, but I imagine a lot of users would've seen and reported that already. But I'm more inclined to believe it's an issue with daylight savings time. Looking at this table of daylight daylight savings events, it looks like such an event took place today for a lot of people. Perhaps it was mistakenly applied to the U.S. as well? We don't adjust our clocks until November 5. Looking at my Settings page, it does list Eastern Time as UTC-5, which is currently incorrect, and I think it had said UTC-4 when I set it up a few days ago, but I may be mistaken.
That might explain the hour jump. I'm not sure why it would jump ahead, and not back, though. Maybe the Inara server time itself jumped back? But then wouldn't it be out-of-sync with UTC, so everyone would see the discrepancy? Ugh... I hate timezones.
For reference, here is the "Docked" event, at 7:57PM EDT, reported correctly in my flight journal:

From a brief look where the problem is it should be OK as is, so no re-upload will be needed.
MetZwergis there any chance, that under Settings/privacy the location is only shared with your wingmembers ?

Cam AndersFirst, very nice job on the site. It's quite well put together and easy to get around. I tried to use it before when I was playing on console, but the manual updating was too much of an obstacle to overcome. I was excited to find the journal upload feature here upon revisiting Inara after transitioning to the PC..
On a related query, do you prefer PC to console? I am thinking on doing the same thing and loosing my rank would be quite a blow, but having all the credits (2 billion or so) would be a nice starting point... still on the fence if it's worth it or not....

Hello! Afaik there is an plugin for the Market Connector. It is build by Mr ShepShep. It makes a lot of the work of your hands.
Also Artie the operator of INARA is testing an API. I hope you do it with some help
, and we will see a release soon .So there is an alternative for the manual labour. And it looks like there will be a even better one in the near future!

I've disabled that plugin. It polls my assets too often, so my credits history starts looking like a flatline instead of a proper history, with many unneccessary entries per day. I wish it would update that just once per session.
