Commanders having Elite from Epic games store with http 400 error
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.

Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

BrewcmasI am curious to know if anyone has this issue:

When importing the .log file, it updates but does not update to the most current info...for instance say 1 hour ago I had 4.2m--now I have 2.6m....I import the most recent .log (4mins ago) and it shows that I still have 4.2m.

As well it never updates my ships.


Same as post before - please send me your journal by e-mail to elite@inara.cz and I will take a look what may be wrong (or not).
Otherwise as Slubman said and is written in the journal import - the credits are updated just on the session start, as crew wages are missing in the journal and due that all credits tracking across the session is wrong. The only possible solution is to have a list of current crew, including their cuts and calculate proper wage cuts on each transaction based on that. It is something I may take a look in the future.




Thanks- I will send you that log file when I return home. I do not have any crew I am still a fairly new player...just flying a Cobra and Type 6.

MatzovHi Artie - when I try to import my journal (from today - my first try at this) it tells me Error, no beta information allowed.


That's odd. In case you are sure it isn't a journal from some beta test, please send it to me (elite@inara.cz) and I will take a look.


Wait can we API our gamer tags like eve online? Or are we just role playing off what our real stream data is. Because Eden.io is using a registery API file to stream data based off the PC version.

a lot of the engineer experimental effects seem to have negative effects on other attributes for example healing beam lasers also drastically lower the dps output of them but this isn't mentioned anywhere in ed on inara i suggest some research into the unknown secondary effects

So importing each file worked up to a point, but didn't go back to start?

Do journal files get removed or archived after a while?

The journal import doesn't automatically add new ships to the fleet currently, it just updates the current ones, except the new ship was bought. But, I want to improve it during weekend, so news ships will be added to the fleet when none appropriate found even on other events (like ship swap, transfer, etc.).
There is not possible to update all engineers info via journal import, because unfortunately there is not overall list of reputation/ranks with all engineers in the journal. So I can update just the engineers when unlocked, reputation with engineer changed, etc. and those respective events are written in the journal.

The journal files aren't stored in any form, it just does the appropriate updates during the import and then the journal file is discarded (as there is no reason to store it).

I didn't mean stored here, I meant the ones stored in my machine. They don't seem to go far enough back to when I started playing...
