Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

I do have "SHOW MY 'INARA SUPPORTER' BADGE" set to Yes.
Now, I am not overly bothered by the lack of badge itself, I am sure there are plenty of supporters with it set off, however I am worried that the fact it is not showing means the payment has gone astray...

Presumably that's the last time Artie was online. He seems to have abandoned this site, unfortunately.

I started on Xbox One and plan to continue playing there but I also picked ED up on PC during the Steam Winter Sale. I'd love to be able to maintain a single Inara account that can toggle between the two platforms and unless I'm blind and the option already exists I haven't seen any way to do it outside of registering another account for the other platform.
Bit confused, the accounts make no mention of format. However I think what you mean is you want 2 Commanders on one account, with separate Fleet and Asset screens for each version?
Personally I would think you need two accounts as they are totally separate CMDRs anyway. What benefit would a unified account but with two sets of details on it be?

While I only play on Xbox, I can see the benefit of having one account unify both the PC/Mac and Xbox CMDRs. A second profile requires a second email address. Something I personally can't be bothered dealing with. It also requires you to memorise two seperate sets of login details which can be a hassle in itself given the number of sites these days that require you to login. It needn't be anything complicated, (from a User Interface perspective, I have no clue about the coding challenges involved), just a simple change to the overview to reflect this:
CMDR Profile: PC [ ] Mac [ ] Xbox [x]
Switching between each one will display the details of each CMDR according to the details the owner has entered, with the 'x' representing the one the viewer has selected.
On a personal note I can see this benefitting RPers on the site too. Particularly ones that write multiple characters as thery can spread the character details across the platforms if they don't use the option for anything else. I for one would use Xbox as my main profile and character, while PC would contain details of my secondary character and perhaps Mac as my disposable character section.
