Commanders having Elite from Epic games store with http 400 error
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.
Please vote for the issue on the official bug tracker: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/21258

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.

Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

DifcanQuick question, about how often does inara update system faction influence?

Inara does not do this at all. It is up to players to input the information for the systems they are interested in

Is there a feature that shows what things I can make given the cargo I have and the engineers I have unlocked? Itd be great to be able to see all the recipes I could make and how many of them I could roll all in one place.

Engineers ------> Blueprints (click on one and you will see your input cargo and requirements).

I'm starting to think that something has happened to Artie. When was the last time he posted something?

Hello,

[ Feature Request ]

Allow us to set our Sidewinder to "Starter Ship" in order to remove it's asset value. My ship isn't worth anything, but Inara wants a "default" amount ( 40,800 ). This breaks muh immurshun .. no I'm kidding, but I would like the option to have my balance correct ( without having to remove the ship from my fleet ).

It might be a combination of holiday burnout and not wanting to make his presence known for fear of risking another flood of "Update so-and-so-Engineering-Recipe because it doesn't need Nanobreakers/Modular Terminals/Platinum anymore!" posts.

He's been back in the last week or two. Just busy.

Considering they're likely to be re-instating those same requirements when they get storage for them, I thought it'd make sense to leave the recipes and have people just look at them to work out which is a commodity and just not search for it. Otherwise it'll be a case of removing them to put them back in a couple of months. People can be rather lazy, it seems.

In every case on the Inara Engineer lists, the cargo hold commodity item is the last one on the list. It's pretty easy to mentally leave them off, especially if you already have an idea of what's a material/data and what isn't.

If you're not sure about the recipes, it looks like ed-board.net has the correct engineering requirements listed. I last visited it in Autumn and it's a lot slicker than it was back then.

Is there a manual or automated process that updates the Power Play systems? Looks like it hasn't run since October...

I use the 'My Cargo' feature a lot and have simply entered 20 in all the Commodity qtys - that way any blueprints will not show these as 'deficient' and I can forget about them

He He... considering all the stuff that is unfinished in ED, I'd be very surprised if Frontier was getting around implementing storage. They put a poll in the forums because they realized at some point that it was a lot of work. With the need to stay on schedule for new expansions, I doubt they will ever implement storage...

Yeah, same here, except I entered 100 for each commodity in My Cargo. My main problem is the lack of new recipes, specially the efficient beams. But I can use the efficient pulse since they use the same recipe.
