Commanders having Elite from Epic games store with http 400 error
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.
Please vote for the issue on the official bug tracker: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/21258

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.

Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

XeknosIs there a way to delete an Inara account?
As far as I'm aware there is no way to delete your account although you can reset it in your misc and signature section of your CMDRs log tab. I could be wrong tho about not being able to delete it.
Close enough. Thanks.
Are you leaving us Xeknos?

Looks that way.

In the 8 or 9 months I was a member here before I started having my... issues, was nothing but a great time, and I'm grateful to everyone for the camaraderie and friendship during that time. Unfortunately, my life took a downward turn in September, which was about the same time I started going after people both here and on the discord, probably as a coping mechanism. That isn't fair to you guys, and it isn't right to do in general. Sadly, though, the events of this downward spiral have stuck, and I don't know how to be happy anymore. If that's what leads to me continually lashing out at people, then I can't trust myself to remain in these spaces were such incidents occur.

I don't bear anyone any ill will, certainly. But I think it's time to figure out how to move on.

If you need to PM someone, hit me up. I can appreciate a downward spiral. Believe me, I can sympathise

Edit: By me, I mean Luke3107, my actual account.

Xek, always remember that there are people here who think of you with fondness and who care about you. Remember that we'll be here when you feel ready to come back, and we'll welcome you.

Take care out there

Jemine CaesarA GENERAL MESSAGE TO THE INARA COMMUNITY

Hello all!

I've just been speaking by PM with Artie, the creator of Inara. He has kindly consented for me to pass on his personal assurance that he is continuing to actively administer and maintain the site. Real life has recently prevented him from devoting as much time to Inara as he would wish, though he does keep a close eye on things here.

He has quite recently added a few tweaks to database code, though this has most likely gone unnoticed by members. He has, however, agreed to make more regular posts in future, so that his visibility and ongoing commitment to Inara should be in no further doubt.

Finally, Artie wishes to extend his sincere thanks and gratitude to all members of Inara for their continued support and encouragement. Inara is a labour of love for him, and he does it for the benefit of us all.

Excellent news, please tell Artie we'll see him around in his own sweet time

"So, no sugar?" Marcus pauses... "Well how about that meal then Marra?" He squawks as he systematically checks all his instruments in an effort to mitigate any potential threats. Marcus sets a nav beacon for the closest hyper jump away, his hand resting on the actuation switch for a speedy escape just in case things go south.

Just a heads up: ship-launched fighters don't have frameshift drives.

Wrong sub-forum Matt?

Glad to hear Artie is fine and that he hasn't forgotten about his amazing project!

Has he thought about distributing access to other users so that the updates can continue in his absence? It's a great facility for many people and perhaps having several admin staff could lighten the load?

Artie, would it be possible to delete posts permanently, so that the "This Post Has Been Deleted" box doesn't show?
