Commanders having Elite from Epic games store with http 400 error
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.

Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

AFAIK, if it's empty; that's telling me several things. You are looking in the wrong user location. You have a configuration that's preventing these files to writing there and might be writing them to another location (only the person that configured this would know where those files are being written to), or they had been removed.

The old netlogs have stopped being used since Update 2.3 went public and trying to import them into Inara will create a JSON error.

But you know.. Too many years of tech supporting family has taught me not to use PEBCAK or ID-10-T around them. They're sharp to those phrases.

Who can accept wing join requests? Is it just the wing commander or can his deputy/all officers?

It doesn't mention it as a thing in the edit roster description of ranks.

Yes, until somebody joining those CGs doesn't import their journal, it won't appear there. You can do it, too.

There was a minor Inara update made, mostly with some internal "invisible" stuff. But, there is a brand new feature for Community goals - rewards structure table with the rewards for each tier and approximate number of contributions needed. These are based on data from the journal imports, so it may take a while for new CGs until all values are properly populated. Also, there was a portuguese (Brazil) language added for the commodity and material names/descriptions.

I would also like to mention that upcoming Inara API is close to be finished. I want to run some beta testing phase starting next week and the "live" API release will be a week or two after that.

I'm finding that any time I upload a journal to Inara it seems to wipe the name and Inara ID of my current ship. It doesn't matter what section of the site I upload the journal into, just every time I need to get a new ID for my Python.

Is it something I'm doing?

When editing documents in the Documents thread, pressing the 'Save' button actions the save but it return to the editing mode. You have to select a different thread to get out of it
