Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

ArtieAlright, so to conclude the discussion about "The negotiations room" - it seems that preference are just for some announcements space at this moment I have an idea where to place it (other than discussions) as part of other feature for I have planned. So it will be there then.

RaeatCarverda is not a patronage. It is under the control of an independent democracy. Most definitely NOT a patronage - and yet Inara lists it as a patronage. Carverda hasn't been a patronage in quite some time now and it almost certainly will not become one.

It looks like you have an issue with Powerplay spheres. For Example, Torval picked up Capo the other cycle- and your site has yet to pick that up.
Any chance you can investigate this?

I've seen you have had the Permit List feature update in the works for a bit. Just wondering if there were any updates to how its going or when it may be released?
Also, a small question, I saw on a profile or two a while back a bio text box. I had a look around but I can't see where I might be able to add this myself. Is this still available? If so where do I look to add one to my CMDR?

When you create a logbook entry there is a category drop down at the bottom that says Logbook. Change this to character Biography.

Second one is about member information. I can't quite remember setting up my account but when does the option to add your time zone and platform turn up. I believe you set it later but could this be there on account creation. These members that join and never return also sometimes don't leave any details and then I have no way of contacting them.
Sorry if some of this already exists and feel free to educate me in the ways of technology. If not, then I think these would add a great deal to the wing experience.

In reading the Galnet News Articles, this is part of Frontier's story line for the Elite world.
Given the wonderful Gallery of Videos we have to view here, I think Galnet needs to "come alive" so to speak, and have an appropriate video clip to go along with the news article. It could be from the most popular section, or a fan based request for a video to accompany a Galnet News Article, but always something appropriate for the article. The videos are already here, the news articles are in place, nothing more than a link or an inserted video clip for fans to watch while reading the news clips.
Just tying two existing website resources together.
Just a thought to make the site a bit more interesting to users.

Scubadog 2008Huh. That was a little frustrating. I had just finished a log entry and clicked Save when the page redrew and the logbooks were missing. I looked at the top of the screen and noticed I somehow got signed out...so my entry wasn't saved. And with that, the muse is gone.
A few of us have learned the hard way to write drafts in Google docs first, then copy them in

Indeed. Or, if you must type directly into Inara, copy your finished text before you press the submit button. If you've been timed out then you can always log back in and paste it.

I lost my first ever logbook that way, so I totally feel you. As Marra said, Google Docs are your friend.
