Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

in CMDR's Logs, Friends and Favorites, .. the Wing members and friends are not displayed with the correct ELITE game version. It is there for example PC / MAC although the player plays on PS4.
Please send me a screenshot, it will be easier to check where the problem is. Thanks.

Sampi Ogonek This reminds me: if I use a script to perform some automation on inara.cz, how long should it wait between consecutive HTTPS requests so as to avoid triggering the anti-mass-leeching protection?
It depends, generally sending hundreds of requests per second is a big NO. Sending a high amount of requests but consistently whole day is asking for perma-block. I have no problem with the site scraping, when made politely and on "request just when it is necessary" basis and when the source (Inara) is properly noted, but spamming the site constantly or in "bursts" is something I don't like, as it may affect the regular user experience.

What I had in mind was infrequent (as in, once a couple of weeks) scraping of many pages in sequence. For example, the one time I got slapped by the anti-mass-leeching protection was when I wanted to download all the blueprints pages in order to process them and put the data in a spreadsheet for personal purposes. I ran something like
wget -rl1 -I /galaxy-blueprint http://inara.cz/galaxy-blueprints(which, if I’m not mistaken, ought to get me all the blueprints pages and nothing else) and after 60 pages or so I got blocked. Since then I’ve been paranoid and adding a 1-minute wait between requests when doing anything like that…

We are often interested in the current (3 day's to one week) influences around events in our systems.
The current weeks region of the 5 or 6 month chart is compressed hard on the right end.
Question:
Any chance the chart could zoom into an area of focus with a mouse over hover or a click?
Save us from having to duplicate this data just so our old eyes can interpret it with larger google charts.
Or can you point to a way we can automate specific system data collection.

In that case, feel free to set it to something like one request per second and you still should be in the very safe area.

They are updated on here, but even if you copy the generated code for the image and paste it shows old data from before the site went off with the DNS thing. So even if it shows updated on here it's displaying old info. This isn't a few hours old data as it says it can take to update but days old. Anyone else notice this? For example it's showing my Fed ranking as Chief Petty Officer as I was up until the the 27th of November I became Warrant Officer, I have gone through 5 other rankings since too.
I had the same problem a few weeks back. It took maybe three days but it did update eventually.

This is probably not a bug, but I'll report it anyway, The ship import feature is only listing part of my fleet. Is there a limit to the number of ships that can be imported? Also, what ships it is finding have missing data.
Update: Okay, working better, but still not complete. I think I know why and will be experimenting a little more in the coming days.

If the signature image is alright here, it may be caused by browser caching (there is some set), please force reload the forum page where is the signature image used and I expect it should be alright then.

Hannibal0216My combat log says I was killed by a CMDR when I know for a fact that I wasn't, either by a CMDR or an NPC. I have the journal file if you want it.
I have found that there was a PvP kill sent via the API, maybe it was just an NPC kill and it was not correctly recorded in the journals. Please send me that journal file to elite@inara.cz , to be sure what is going on.
