Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

As you now have the HTTPS version of the site and if you want people to slowly move over you might want to update the links presented in the "signature section" to be HTTPS URLs so when they copy them over other sites will be coming into the secure site as well
Right, I forgot to update the links. But, http is moved to https via .htaccess anyway, so the "old" links will work, too.
Ash StewartJust want to point out that the information on both the The Sitakapan Expeditionary Force minor Faction AND the community goal Gears of War for the faction is wrong.
It appears that the Sitakapan Expeditionary force is actually alligned to the Imperials and the goal information screen should thus also be 'Imperial' and not Federation. Not sure where this should be posted, so feel free to move it.
Feel free to update minor faction(s) and/or star system(s) properties as you wish, you can edit it here. But, there will be some automatic updates using journal data coming via EDDN soon as well.

The wing ship registry is a very good feature but is it possible to ensure that any ship ID logged is unique?
This would help our wing because members seem to be doing a lot of random ID's (not a problem) but I think ship ID's should be unique within the wing

Just make someone in your wing a ship registrar and make them hand out IDs to people that request them - that is what we are doing. No point in making Artie create something that locks everyone into one way of doing things.

I am sorry, I forgot to reply on this (I thought I did). I am afraid this isn't so easy, as players may join wing using some of the shipIDs currently existing within the wing. So there inevitably will be duplicates anyway (or I can reset/change shipID for the new member by force or force them to change it, but it won't be very polite). So I rather prefer to keep it in wings hand, how they want to handle it (I can also imagine they may allow some duplicates for some reason like "backup" ships, etc.).

Yep, I had it there previously, but removed it in the last update as it was outdated. I knew how to calculate the values for other shield grades and I can probably apply it again, but for just to be sure - if do you will visit Vatermann, please send me screenshots for other grades via PM. Thanks.
BeagleyHello - looking for a search function here but cannot find it. Could anyone please tell me if there is an issue with importing flightlogs post 2.3 going live? Files are importing to Inara but in flight log section on the webpage for any log files dated past 9th April 2017 they now display here with a game time log date of 01 Jan 3256 so they become the oldest files in my flight log page as the game clock started in 3300? Do I need to change a setting or something please?
Hello, Frontier changed netlogs format in 2.3, probably no fault on your side. I did some fix right now until it will be switched to journals, so please try it now. I hope it will work again without any problems.
The fulltext search in boards/etc. is on my ToDo.

tobiartie im having trouble with the credit balance and assets because it keeps on changing what my assets when i put in my credit balance
Right now the total Assets displayed in game is wrong. Or it was wrong, there's been a small patch but I don't know if it fixed it or not. Double check the numbers.
That said the Asset total here adds up the total values of all of your ships based on their rebuys etc, so if you're finding that the automatic total doesn't line up you may also want to double check those. This happens every time you input your Balance, so tbh it's either do it manually every time, or accept there may be some slight discrepancies.

Can I ask for one little enhancement for Traders please. In the Market Settings section, will you please add a condition for Minimum Quantity on hand.
That will make the site perfect for Traders.
Hmmm... as there is some caching involved, it may be slightly more complicated, but I will think about it. Do you mean some specific minimum quantity, for example like 500t to fill whole ship cargo or simply if there is generally at least 10t available, so it may worth the trip?
What I was thinking would be a parameter - like Landing Pad size - that I could set for Minimum Quantity on hand to make it a worthwhile trip. At the moment the Marketing Search function might fill up with suggestions to export Insulating Membrane from Station A/System X to 20 different Destinations, but when I check there are only 2 on hand and other, more realistic exports don't show because the search window is full.
The ability to set a minimum quantity of, for example, 50 (or 200) on hand would eliminate a lot of useless clutter.
There are already parameters that can be set for Maximum Distance, Landing Pad Size, etc, this would be another one.
