Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

When I add a jpg picture for my ship(s) and then save changes, it doesn't save the picture.
Any chance you could look into this please?

How are you adding the picture? It may be an issue with the link you're using.

How are you adding the picture? It may be an issue with the link you're using.
That, and/or the image (link) is to large.
btw for future reference, please submit questions to the General/ Game talk Discussion. Artie welds a mighty hammer. Or it'll be transferred cause he's that kind of a cool dude. And saves him valuable time. o7

It looks like you have an issue with Powerplay spheres. For Example, Torval picked up Capo the other cycle- and your site has yet to pick that up.
Any chance you can investigate this?

Also, a small question, I saw on a profile or two a while back a bio text box. I had a look around but I can't see where I might be able to add this myself. Is this still available? If so where do I look to add one to my CMDR?

It's still in the progress. I have prioritized other things at this moment (like more visible alert for incoming PM's, etc.) and I am not sure if the permit list will make it to the next Inara update or not. The bio can be edited as others mentioned. I am aware the fact it is not very obvious and user friendly and that's will be changed in the next update.
Scubadog 2008Huh. That was a little frustrating. I had just finished a log entry and clicked Save when the page redrew and the logbooks were missing. I looked at the top of the screen and noticed I somehow got signed out...so my entry wasn't saved. And with that, the muse is gone.
To prevent this I recommend to use that checkbox on login that will still keep you logged. There is fairly large timeout (12 hours since last activity), but the session may be invalidated by login on another device.
Maylor RomA suggestion for the Inara Website Galnet News Articles.
In reading the Galnet News Articles, this is part of Frontier's story line for the Elite world.
Given the wonderful Gallery of Videos we have to view here, I think Galnet needs to "come alive" so to speak, and have an appropriate video clip to go along with the news article. It could be from the most popular section, or a fan based request for a video to accompany a Galnet News Article, but always something appropriate for the article. The videos are already here, the news articles are in place, nothing more than a link or an inserted video clip for fans to watch while reading the news clips.
Just tying two existing website resources together.
Just a thought to make the site a bit more interesting to users.
Interesting idea, it has just one problem - such pairing should be rather done manually and it needs some extra work for that. I am not sure how often there can be such content and if it worth the time invested. I will take a look on the stuff posted to galleries and think about it.

There was probably some issue with the image, what exactly the problem is should be displayed in the error message after submit. Is anything there?

Can you change this to YES on the Minor Faction page please.
EDDB shows it correctly.

The ship names post in Inara as upper and lower case font randomly.
In-game the font is always displayed as all caps, but typing the names in may still respect shifts, so I typed very deliberate tests.
I still can not force the results in INARA listings to one or the other.
... anyone got an answer or suggestion?

The ship names are updated exactly as are provided by the game (via EDMC/Inara API). But, the ship name updates are ignored if the name differs just by the lower/upper case, so you can fix the names here as you like and it should stay the same (at least until you won't rename the ship in the game).
