Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.
Please vote for the issue on the official bug tracker: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/21258
Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

Two other suggestions:
-For the discussion boards with more than a few hundred sites an "Jump to page" function, so one doesn't have to spend an hour clicking through hundreds of pages. It's good doable by just manipulating the URL but I fear not everyone knows that trick.
-A rename of the "Fuel Rat" role to "Search and Rescue", "Refueler", "Breakdown Service" or something else fitting. The problem here is that the "Fuel Rat" role implies a membership in the Mischief and thus the participation and completion of all the relevant drills, etc, which isn't necessarily true as anyone can choose that role.
Good ideas, will be in the update tomorrow.

Perhaps it would be easier to instead make Inara support being simultaneously logged in to multiple accounts with an easy method of switching which is currently active ?
In the meantime Cmdrs could emulate this by simply making multiple accounts and relogging as needed.
Definitely not, as it is rather bypassing the problem that its solution.

ArtieOne reason is a concept of "one wing - one loyalty". The other reason are various complications it brings on various places, for example just a simple displaying commander's wing here in discussion (and that's just a minor one), routing to proper wing discussions when there is something new (and probably need to have some general overview of all wing discussions somewhere), problems with rankings, etc. etc. There is a lot of stuff in wings that needs be handled differently with multiple wing memberships. I don't say it is not technically possible, but... honestly, it simply doesn't worth the effort, because just a minority will use it.
But, I fully understand that for some cases like Canonn, Fuel Rats, etc. is a multiple wing membership desirable. These are pretty specific, as I consider them rather as "work groups" than wings, where are some "core members" but also lot of supporters that are interested in what they are doing, but their loyalty lies in a different wing. For these cases I am evaluating some options, something like Zatzai mentioned - some kind of limited "auxiliary" wing access, role of a "wing supporter", etc. I am not entirely sure how it will work yet, it's not so easy, but definitely thinking about it.
You could add a feature to lock private discussions to certain ranks, and add a special "Affiliate" rank that people can apply for instead of full wing membership. You could even go further and reduce the level of influence an Affiliate has on a Wing's stats compared to a fully pledged member.
If you want to have a consolidated Wing discussion tab, you could have a main column for the Commander's Fully Pledged Wing, and an RSS Feed style sidebar for their Affiliated Wings.
For the issue of which wing displays in chat, it could be a dropbox selection like how we select things for our Pilots Federation License, or be locked to someone's Fully Pledged Wing.

There are additional improvements currently in the work - stored modules tracking, list of conflict zones (also with other system states) and Inara API. Soon(tm)

ArtieSo, there is an update with various changes and improvements across the site. The most visible change is the site design - the style of the front/news page was slightly polished and extended to the other pages, together with other layout changes and minor functional improvements across the site. There were added settings for the upcoming PS4 game version and wings can also set their preferred language. Inara rankings score calculation was overhauled, so it now should better reflect progress of each commander. And... in case you didn't noticed that a week ago already, your cargo page can be update via game journals import, too.

It's beautiful.

This "working wings" (Canonn,Fuel Rats,Expeditions, etc) could have an option to set up an afiliations section where they can interact with tested and aproved cmdrs without the need to be part of the wing, so it does not reflect as a wing member in his numbers but it does reflect as "part of" in signatures for example.
[Feature Request]
1. More edition options to player faction: logos, description, etc. The wing logo dont fit righ.
2. More signature styles: Unlock more signatures styles/colors when you reach an Elite rank for example. Custom layout.
Great work.
