Commanders having Elite from Epic games store with http 400 error
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.

Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

Love what you've done with the place and the new Short Biography section is excellent!

I wonder though, is there any plans to add formatting capabilities to it? Even if it's just the Underline, Italics and/or Bold options as it looks a bit nicer. But that's just my humble opinions of course. I ca make do without it if necessary.

In the meantime, keep up the good work and I hope everything is well with you.

Suggestion: Most forum software have a "Preview" or "Preview Changes" option so you can test your markup before it becomes public. That would be very useful here, especially when creating and editing missions. I know you can switch on rendering markup in the text box but it still doesn't quite show what it will look like in the end.

Well, the short version is intended to be rather an excerpt or perex to the full version, so there is no formatting possible (to avoid wild creations that may mess CMDR's front page). I will try to make it more clear. The long version can be formatted, of course.

I have no direct plans for it at this moment, but I think I have something like that on my ToDo (and/or the preview styling improved to reflect better the look of the entry/post sent).

Thanks for all the updates, Artie! The site just keeps getting better. I admit I liked the old look as well but this is nice and clean. The sidebar is very useful as well.

Thanks, I am using the same version and there is no such issue... are you using any plugins that may alter the page content (like Skype plugin sniffing for contacts, etc.) ?

It seems there is really some weird bug. I know what is happening, I am just not sure how to trigger it yet. As a temporal solution, please open any message for multiple recipients (like the one named "Silverbacks" made by the end of the year), it should fix it.

Hello, yes, I was thinking about some (dynamic) cap, I am just not sure how high it should be set. The current credits influence on rankings score is 100 points per 1 billion in overall assets (so 10 billions equals to one Pilot's federation rank level) and it is primarily intended to differentiate score for triple/quadruple Elite ranks. I would like to keep the credits/assets influence there for sure, otherwise everybody will end with score 60.000 there. I think that 1 billion cap is quite low for such players, so the general question is - how much overall assets can have a player which just reached a triple Elite status (ignoring CQC)? My rough estimate is 2 billions (1 billion for trade, 0.3 billion for exploration, the rest for bounties made on combat). Then the subsequent question is - how much can such experienced player made after that in, let's say, one year?

The records validity is another story, of course.

Maybe you don't need a cap per se, perhaps just implement a logarithmic scale to fade the effect as the credits go up? Your first billion cr means something, second means less so, 3rd, 4th etc are icing on the cake so to speak, 25th billion is barely noticeable from a site rank perspective.

No idea if this is caused by a bug, people artificially creating scores or just a strange coincidence but why do so many commanders have the exact score of 40,000? Rankings page 107 Scores above and below are quite sporadic but all these commanders are set to the exact score even though they don't have the same stats.
