Commanders having Elite from Epic games store with http 400 error
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.

Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

Just wanted to let you know, whenever I attempt to update the faction reports on the system for Paroja my antivirus blocks the website. It seems the qnap you have there is infected with something nasty. You might want to check it out.

Wing discussion threads can be restricted from view by a lot of different levels (Reserve and above, Wingmans and above, Wing Officers, etc), but missions can only be restricted from wing recruits, coalition members, supporters...

Is it possible someday to get the same restrictions for missions that discussion threads get? Maybe other places like Wing Documents as well?

Interesting. I am very sure there is nothing malicious on the site, but may be good to find what is triggering it. What antivirus are you using and what alert it is throwing?

A new Inara update is here. There were mostly minor improvements made across the site, but more important update(s) and new features are coming as the game update 3.0 and its beta will be released fairly soon.

Namely:
  • New feature: Ignore list was added, so you can prevent posts/PMs displaying from people who broke your toys.
  • The side menu was made sticky and is slightly more compact, to provide a little bit more space for the main content and to easen the navigation.
  • Improved and more visible alerts for incoming private messages and friendship requests.
  • Notification about new pictures in the gallery is displayed just when there is 10+ new images.
  • The market automatically jumps to your last location set (via inAPI, journals or manually).
  • Character biography was separated from the logbooks to be more convenient (you previous biographies were converted and old logbook entries set as draft).
  • Various other improvements here and there (new graphs for the minor factions influence, manual date edit in logbooks, etc. etc.)
Known issue: A new graph in minor factions influence overview has tooltips misplaced when switching from line to area and back. Unfortunately, this is a bug of chart library used. Will be fixed with replacement for another chart library in the future.

Well in my case, as incentive to wing members to advance in rank. I.E. when you're this rank, you have access to these missions, as you get higher, you get to find out what these mysterious operation names mean and get to participate. So, recruits can see these three missions, reserves can now see this additional mission, co-pilots and pilots can see this additional mission, wingman and senior wingmen and veterans can see this additional mission, etc.

Quick question, was there a UI change too only the grey boxes around the Discussion topics have all disappeared and now the alerts are in orange. Looks smart if so although I'd still request a boundary around each topic selection as it looks cleaner. (Just my humble opinion of course)

I'm on a mobile device in case that changes anything.

One question though, if you ignore a Commander's Main account will all of their subsequent ones also be ignored or do you have to ignore every single one?

Yeah, I'd like to second this. I thought the website was screwed up at first or my woefully obsolete browser finally hit critical mass, till I read it was a site update.

Either Artie fixed it (in which case, very quick work... Nice one!) or it suddenly corrected itself, but now I have buttons for the text.
