Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

Cleared my logs, but when I tried to re-import them from January 8th, it said the logs were too old.
Yes, there is a 30 days limit as mentioned in the journal import widget, as it may complicate the summaries creation otherwise.
Brynhild HervorsdottirHey Artie, is it possible some time in the distant future for Wing Commanders to receive some sort of notification when a CMDR decides to name themselves a supporter of their Wing? Sort of like how we see Coalition and Join Requests? I just happened to notice earlier on my Wing Info that I had a supporter and said, "Huh, wonder when that happened?" I think I would've like to send that individual a message in a timely manner somewhere along the lines of "Hey thanks for the support, let me know if you ever like to become a full member, we'd love to have you."
Hmmm.... maybe. I will think about it. For the PMF supporters I do not want to do any changes as mentioned, but for the wing supporters there may be some improvements.

No precise details or ETA yet (the priority is a stuff for 3.0 now). The PMF and missions overview will not be a revamp but a whole new functionality that may help wings to track their members activity for the minor faction set.

that sounds cool! i'd just seen that stuff in the "features in the work" section to right there for a while and my curiosity was getting the better of me

Brynhild HervorsdottirArtie, I put up a post in Wing Promotions for Operation IDA. It's not a formal wing, it's more of a player-created CG, but it's organized similar to a wing in that there's a clearcut leader dispensing objectives to a group of people working together toward a common goal. It's the only post I'll put up for it here. If this isn't ok, let me know and I'll take it down.

Some way for those of who do NOT use journal imports to update any part of our Inara pages to tell the system "Make the alternative ship config real" and have loadout/etc copied over. Because since you updated my fleet suddenly looks all stock/unknown unless I look under alternative config, and the details of that config are not reflected in things like fleet value etc.

ArtieThat's correct. The ship configuration will be filled in automatically via journal imports and Inara API with game update 3.0. So this tab will show something after that. But, I will eventually make some adjustments so it will be displayed better for console players (like using the alternate config as main), that do not have this option and can just import the loadouts from Coriolis or EDShipyard. If they are using such things at all.
(Or I will make some simple manual edit for the ship loadouts later. I am just not sure about it yet.)

Basically, that idea was about the expeditions only but then I think it would be nice if we made actual section for the people without (or within Wing) that just look for other players for certain activities - be it either forum posts (easier implementation version) or actual page which lists up players that user would be interested in (harder version) made like a wing rooster.
Unlike the wing rooster, it would also contain used Platform and Role(s).
I have a plan for something like that, unrelated to the forum but another feature.

Yes, it will be handled in the next update (in case the ship config is not present, the alternate ship config will be used as a main).

The Search bar you are looking for is at the top of the page third button from the right. You can search for anything there including wings, as long as you spell it correctly, however you can still do a partial name search and it should find what you are looking for, other wise you could manually search for it in the Wings section.

I know it's been solved, but you can also use the browser's search function on one of the Wing List pages. It's usually brought up with ctrl-f or the menu button on Android.
