Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

The Faction "Black Emblem Company" was already in the game, and me and my friends pushed it into power in many systems. We want Inara to say that it is a Player faction instead of just an in game faction.

Aaron HandlerNo, I know. But FDEV also has a system where if you support a faction which is already in game, it will become a player faction. I have applied to Fdev already with the faction I have been supporting, and they approved it. Inara still hasnt changed it, though. Thats what I am interested in.

ahh i see, my bad. to be honest i dont think they actually register as a "player faction" per se. i think it just says that your wing supports that faction. i could be totally wrong about that tho
i tried to edit a couple random factions just to see how it would be done and it looks like its something that regular users dont have access to, so it will be something that Artie will have to do for you. hes super quick with stuff so he'll let you know whats going on as soon as hes on next

When browsing a Wing > Fleet > Ship registry page, the links in the table (for ship name and owner) are wrong (missing the id I think).

There's a PMF out there, which exists in one system only, and is 'abandoned', and has an associated Inara wing, which is 'Inactive'.
I know FDev don't edit or delete abandoned PMFs, but If someone was to adopt this faction, and set up a new wing, would Inara be prepared to link the abandoned faction to the new wing?
As I see it, if you would, then the only difference between this PMF and a 'normal' new PMF would be that FDev would have the wrong email to contact the PMF 'owner'
Is that right?

I haven't found anywhere else (but to be fair I've only checked edsm and eddb) that even tells us what type of trader is at which location, so I'm wondering if this data is managed locally and if it is how I submit a change. Or how to request someone confirm what I saw last night, even.

One being my renamed Winnipeg that has a value of 0 credits however it is at my current location (GD 140) the other Orca has a value of 47,7 million and is set at the location that I bought it from.
I don't know if I accidentally did something to mess it up but is there a way that I can fix this?
Help is appreciated.
It seems like some issue when updates via API and subsequent journal import made. It should be fixed for you now.

Yes, in this case I recommend to contact the original faction "owner" and arrange the adoption. Although it's easy to change it here on Inara, by the principle I do not want to "steal" a faction from the original owners as there may be also possible they are still active in the game, just not on Inara.

As mentioned in the note on that list, there may be one of them present (not both). As the material trader type is dependent on the station economy and in a case of multiple economies it also depends which economy is primary, I have made it that way. It may be improved over time, but as currently may be primary/secondary economy swapped and then it may show an incorrect trader type, there are both options displayed.

I'm having this same problem with my sidewinder. I've tried deleting it but at the next update it's back.

I would like to, but it doesn't depend on me - there is currently no way how to get console players data for 3rd party developers. It is fully in the hands of Frontier/Sony/Microsoft.
