Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.
Please vote for the issue on the official bug tracker: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/21258
Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

ThinderWhy aren't they fixing THIS? That's a few of the Engineers planets, impossible to dock, so no more engineering.
AMD graphics?
Don't use actual driver, use 22.5.1.

It doesn't exist for the RX 7900 Serie.

ArtieThinkingWithPortalsHi, I was wondering if Ground Conflict Zone intensity was recorded in journal files/available to EDDN?
I've been doing some BGS work lately, and noticed that settlements appear to have fixed intensities.
E.g. Settlement 1 is owned by Faction A, who is at war with faction B, and the settlement is a High intensity zone. Once the war is over, and a new war starts between Faction A and C, Settlement 1 will remain a High intensity zone.
Since learning about this quirk, I was wondering if it was possible to parse the EDDN data, finding settlements in a War/Civil War state, and are known to be High/Med/Low intensity?
Unfortunately, there is no information about the surface conflict zones in the journal, so I can only get an information that some settlement is a stake in the conflict plus a vague information somebody arrived into the conflict zone, but that's it. No further zone details like the intensity, progress, etc.

It's best to contact Frontier's support about that. Also check if you are having latest graphics card drivers, etc.
User419763McQuarrie Landing is incorrectly labled as Sparport with Large pads, it only has medium
It is a starport, it just shows an incorrect icon in the nav panel in the game.
Hmm I guess the only relevant journal entries would be combat bonds from killing ground troops. Searching for bond kill values within a range and pairing them with the prior vague location references, it might be a bit hit and miss. Best I've done with parsing journal files is exporting EDDiscovery logs to an excel sheet and using scripts in that to search and filter for info.

ArtieV'larrHey again - regarding the new fancy directional arrows per https://inara.cz/elite/board-thread/1/464853/#464853
Could you add a helpful mouseover tooltip explaining the meaning of the different colors? The guess so far is being related to X/Y/Z coordinate placement but I can't find any info on how to interpret the symbols & colors.
also, using slightly different symbols for each could be worth a thought for the colorblind
The arrow direction is based on the galactic map grid (XZ coords) of the target star system and the color on its Y coord. More blue = the star system position is more "upwards" from the reference location, more red = more "downwards". As the galactic plane is relatively flat, I didn't bother with any other indication as it's already quite visually busy and the XZ direction is usually more important than Y.
As a supporter of Y co-ordinates across the galaxy, I'm very disappointed that you've discriminated against Ys everywhere.
"Y co-ordinates matter!"

A request for your consideration:
On the web page title bar swap the category and detail.
Examples would be:
- Sol - Star system [INARA Elit....
- Daedalus - Station in Sol [INARA Eli....
- Mother Gaia - Minor faction [INA....
This would improve usability when multiple tabs are open.
Instead of seeing 8 tabs of "Star Syste" we'd see the system names and find needed tabs more quickly.

Any ideas why?

Wolf AstartesHello... in Inara all my stats, credits, ships, modules etc etc are updating as expected, but my Achievements History has not updated since 29Jan2023 yet plenty has happened in that time that should show, e.g. bought new ships, mercenary rank level up etc
Any ideas why?
The rank levels, etc. seems to be there, but there really is some issue for the ships bought/sold. I will take a look at that, thanks for the report.
SombientI have no idea how you do it Artie but I am ever so thankful for INARA.
A request for your consideration: ...
That's a very good point, thanks. I will make the adjustments.
User419932soooo i had an account and deleted it as stupidly wanted to start a fresh...now i cant log into inra as im xbox. is this correct
Since the game update 14, there is not possible to import console commander details anymore due to the game split to Legacy/Live version, I am afraid. As all the game development and updates will be now going only to the Live game version (so PC), the best course of action is to simply move there (either to your desktop or via some service like GeForce Now). The Frontier's console account transfer portal is live, so it should make the transition easier, too.

Y-wings to everybody! Wait... that's a different universe, so - no Y-whatever supporter movements here!

Yeah, it's a lot of troubles as also bond rewards differ within the same conflict. At the moment, it's easiest to simply find factions with the most surface conflict zones to increase the likelihood the high CZ will be there.

Why do all the images that I have uploaded to Inara, except one, are no longer in the gallery or in my area?

Hi Artie, sorry to bother you again, but while browsing my journal files history using EDDiscovery, I've found that each intensity of GCZ has a fixed number of bounty values. 5 different values for High, 8 for medium, and 9 for Low. These values don't overlap, the lowest High is 39,642 with the highest Medium is 33,762, then 11,858 and 4,172 for medium/low. Across hundreds of kills in each zone, the individual kill bonds appear to be drawing from a list of fixed values, presumably tied to the class of the enemy killed.
EDDiscovery also logs an event "approach settlement" which names the settlement and the relevant body. I figured I could use this as a marker to search for, before correlating a bond kill value to it.
If I wanted to create a tool to read EDDN data, is there a place you would suggest I go to to access the data / learn how to make a tool to read it?

Jack'lulI don't remember "Just discounted / higher equip chance: Yes" showing stations without any discount when searching for Guardian modules. Should it?

Thanks, I fill fix that with the Inara update tomorrow.
Odion KhonsHm, it seems as if I can only have 12 pictures in my gallery -if I add more, the oldest gets removed. But I saw people with way more pics. What am I missing?
Uiros UeramosSorry to bother, Artie, but I have a question:
Why do all the images that I have uploaded to Inara, except one, are no longer in the gallery or in my area?
The images in the gallery that aren't used in the logbooks or have no/very-low number of likes may be a subject of removal after some time (several months). So, yes, the images may disappear as mentioned on the image upload page. There is no limit on a maximum number of images in the gallery though.

Ah, if the bonds are fixed within the range, that makes things a little bit easier indeed. It's still quite a PITA (also due to a fact there may be various problems in the journal, so the event order is not guaranteed) and having a list populated to some usable state will likely take months (as there are hundreds of thousands of settlements and the conflicts take a couple of days at least). I will keep that in my mind though.
The EDDN link is as provided by Floyd, but there are no combat bonds data on it if you want to use it for that purpose.
