Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.
Please vote for the issue on the official bug tracker: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/21258
Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

Aye, same here. No probs with other sites.
Hello, please also check the steps above (so you did save the settings there and that the cookie is stored in your browser). I am unable to replicate the problem on my end, so I either suppose the settings in the pop-up weren't saved by the user or for some reason the cookie is not being stored (and if that's the case, it will need to be further investigated). Thanks.
If this is still an issue:
1.Log out of Inara,
2.restart phone or computer.
3.Log back in Inara and set your preferences again
This seemed to work for the phone at least. I don't know why that happened, but as Artie is the owner of the site and thus has access by very many ways, I suspect this was something about general network protocols. The old privacy note left on some loop by your own service provider, or some such.

It is importing the jump range and cargo values from somewhere, though some ships are missing these values in Inara.
The problem is that it's importing the wrong value
It should be importing the Current value I believe.
It doesn't seem possible to modify these values in the interface

The jump range is imported from the Loadout events, so at the sessions start or ship swaps typically, together with the ship modules. The journals are providing only the max/unladen jump range, so no number for the current range (and it actually makes quite a sense, as the current range can change a lot with the cargo loaded, etc.).

Btw... it would be nice to ALSO have information about since when we are Patreons
Well, as commanders are also making one-off donations or not having the pledge active continuously, it can be quite a misleading information, thus I rather stick only with that date.

Sir.riceHi, was wondering if it would be possible to add the filter for search results to not include systems that have any faction of given allegiance. Can be useful if you need interstellar factors to pay out interstellar bounty from certain power.
Hello, although it's relatively easy to do, I am not very inclined to clutter the search forms for rarely used options (it's already pretty complicated as it is). I understand that may be handy sometimes, but as there can be similar results achieved by simply limit the search results for independent star systems or so, I don't think adding such option is worth the complications mentioned at the moment.

One thing I've been wanting though, is current statistics, I would like a time filter on the stats page for last 24 hrs, week, month, year etc... fdev report 4k daily numbers, I'm very interested in comparing myself to these cmdrs. I.e. how many elites still play regularly, are those 21% harmless actually no longer playing. Have all the top 10's stopped playing? Where do I sit in the overall rankings for those that have played in the last year.
Again awesome work.

I also tried the following locations below which were also updated by me going there and did not find the item in question, but the nearest outfitting search shows they are at all of those locations.
These are all 20% off systems
- Doi City | ALPHA FORNACIS
- Zholobov Gateway | RANA
- Wescott Hub | RANA
- Ali Hub | RANA
- Bacon Port | GLIESE 868
This is a 15% off system
- Hahn Orbital | BANDIZEL
I thought there might be a pattern, but appears not to be the case. It just is not working correctly.
Is anyone else having issues with the outfitting search?

Sarah AndromedaeI have noticed when I do a search for outfitting that it says that there is equipment in a particular station. In this case I am looking for a 2A Missile Rack (Fixed) and it indicates that they are available in Chretien Terminal | LHS 1197 with the update time of five minutes ago (by me using EDMC). However, they are not in outfitting.

I am updating Trade Dangerous to see if it is reporting the same locations having the item.
I just checked the data received and the game certainly reports this missile rack should be there (alongside of other sizes). The message received via EDDN seems alright, so certainly not an issue on Inara's end. But for some reason, the game may not actually provide all the modules as listed and nobody knows for sure why. It may be caused by a limited stock, it may be caused by your reputation with the station controlling faction or its particular state, hard to tell (that's why I've put that annoying message about it to the outfitting search).
Green SkinExcellent work devs, since eddb shutdown I've been using this site more and more and it is brilliant.

I rather want to avoid that. Players are notoriously known to make definitive conclusions on partial and/or biased data and thus I do not want to provide any "ammo" for the speculations about the game's player base size, etc. that can be wildly off the reality. Like the Steam stats that certainly do not reflect any major part of the community and yet they are used various ways they shouldn't.

Bummer, I just don't know why it would affect every station I went to. The faction rep would not apply to most since I am Allied. I guess I need to go to Shinrarta Dezhra and get it.
Thanks for looking into it Artie

InnercoreHi, the descriptors for planets in the nearest bodies search dropdown have vanished / become invisible (tested on Chrome, Edge and mobile on Safari). https://inara.cz/elite/nearest-bodies/
Thanks for the report, fixed.

Wondering if the "Residents" that live under a certain faction is still counted correctly? I am not seeing this moving since a while even though our PMF gained influence and added a system to their remit.
The number appears frozen....
THanks!

Hello, yes, they are. But due to the numerous requests, the number was changed to cover an entire star system population instead of a portion based on the faction's influence. The original value based on it is still available in the tooltip, though.

Ah! Get it. So if we take over a system with the PMF, the entire population count is added to it.
Got ya! Thanks!
