Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.
Please vote for the issue on the official bug tracker: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/21258
Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

James HussarIs there a way to search the discussion forums? Some months ago (9-ish?) I recall there being a great post on X-52 Pro bindings but I seem to not have bookmarked it.

You can limit Google to any site by adding site:domain.xyz to the search.

Thanks! I can't believe I forgot about this feature of Google. Much appreciated.

PhelboreJames Hussar@Artie, would you add a feature allowing the muting of specified users? I love to follow most of the public forums, but once in a while there's a pissing match and I'd like to tune that out. I might not want to hear from some people at all, but to mute specific user ID's from my view at least temporarily would be great.
Would this also mute posts quoting the muted posts? Is that even doable?
Generally no... Even with the mute functions for Usenet, people chatting with those that you might have chosen to mute aren't muted either. After a while, you get used to glazing over and moving on from that individual.

Publishing Email addresses in a public forum is never a good idea, even if they're throwaways.

ValidiumWas playing the other day running some cargo missions. And I admit I'm pretty lazy so I use a docking computer. While my ship was on automated approach some little fly of a ship did a sucide run on mine and blew up. Next thing I know all hell broke loose and now i'm wanted for the murder of the sucide fly and my ship was destroyed it cost me all my cargo and a 40mil rebuy.
I had this happen on two occasions while landing on a planet base last week. I think the ships were 'Security vessels' or maybe a skimmer like vessel. I thought it was just me being clumsy but now it's happened to someone else maybe it is a bug. I'll wait a while before I report it. It cost me two ships (over 4 days) and all the cargo.

Ra'SakharFalling skimmers are a known bug and will be fixed with 2.4

Thanks for the answer and advice. I have plenty of credits so 50 million is not missed. I was more concerned what I had done wrong. I have heard about skimmers committing suicide but never seen one. I will see if it happens again when 2.4 is released. If so, I will report it.

Well, then, can you get them to give me the 50m?

Nope, I'm guessing this has happened to just about anyone who has used a DC, my last, a while back, auto-docked me into the station wall; total face-plant. Had gotten very close before when the DC decided to reroute me last minute due to other traffic but that time around, BAM! Cost a pretty penny. When I first started ED, a couple of years ago or so, the DC was VERY wonky. It is better today. I am about done with it for a while. I just bought a 'conda and was not used to the size so I DC'd a few times to get the feel. Sorry that happened to you.

Nova-stormQuestion re. importing of journals. Specifically on the fleet data. My newly purchased corvette seems to be changing it's value to only 510MCr when I import the latest journal files. I can obviously then adjust the value to match whats in-game, but it'll only change back again on next import (it's about 238MCr out). Is this a known issue? I'd be assuming it's not picking up some aspects of the ship build correctly from the journal - the journal looks right....Have you set for your ship Ship hull value? That price is not journal file and need to be set manually here on inara.
