Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.
Please vote for the issue on the official bug tracker: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/21258
Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

Damon8r351So what determines which systems show up on INARA? Last night I was going to update my location to V380 Orionis, but that location doesn't come up in search. Just for curiosity's sake.
There should be more or less everything around the Bubble and many other systems around (Colonia area, Maia area, etc.). New distant starsystems are usually added automatically when there is some station in it or manually when there is some importance of it. As there is not possible to store whole galaxy, there are such limits set.

Tigon Ologdring"Accepting" not "excepting"... unless there's a new use for that gerundised verb. No need to swear though, it doesn't impress much. Gives the impression of a lack of vocabulary and from earlier posts, which I occasionally found very funny, I know that isn't the case.

Ah, the hammer fell...
Pure ignorant emotion... I apologize. Sometimes red flashes and .nature not nurture survival instinct kicks in. Again I apologize

ArtieIt is updated that way already, but it requires somebody must dock in there, to get the proper information from the journals.
Something must have gone wrong when I tested it the other day then. I recently got a faction to take over a station and when I had docked all station info on inara changed, except the owning faction name.
I'll keep my eye on EDMC next time I do something like this and see if it forgets to send the new faction name to EDDN. If that's the case I'll be sure to contact the dev of EDMC

RadiKyleHi, just noticed Juri Ishmaak is missing Wake Scanners.
Cheers!
Really? Up to which grade it is possible to engineer it?

That's weird. Do you remember which station(s) in what starsystem(s) it was and around what time it was (or should be) updated?

FlynnRocks1556Almost 2 hours and no CG info... Did Thargoids destroy the uplink?
As I answered to you earlier - the CGs are updated from the journals, so new CGs won't appear here until somebody will upload his journal (while being participating on the CG). But what is best on it - you can do it, too! Anytime you will have a feeling that CGs are appearing slowly, just upload your journal.

The API is currently running in the beta stage, is not complete (more precisely - it has not all the features enabled yet), but more stuff will be added in as the beta will progress. Feel free to discuss anything related in a dedicated discussion thread.

I noticed that the current rescue CG ranks are not the standard top: 100%, 75%, 50%, 25%, 10%, 10
But instead they are top: 100%, 80%, 40%, 20%, 10%, 10
The community goal on Inara does not reflect those ranks.
Below is an extract from my journal showing the fact that I am in the top 80%
{ "timestamp":"2017-11-03T06:30:22Z", "event":"CommunityGoal", "CurrentGoals":[ { "CGID":433, "Title":"Rescue Operation in the Pleiades", "SystemName":"Pleiades Sector IR-W d1-55", "MarketName":"The Oracle", "Expiry":"2017-11-09T15:00:00Z", "IsComplete":false, "CurrentTotal":9170, "PlayerContribution":2, "NumContributors":876, "TopRankSize":10, "PlayerInTopRank":false, "TierReached":"Tier 1", "PlayerPercentileBand":80, "Bonus":300000 } ] }

SlubmanHello Artie,

....
Thank you for the information, the rank bands were fixed.

I'm loving all the changes, especially the idea of the log file import... however, it always gets my current assets wrong and I can't edit the entry. Is there any way I can disable the credits import, or make said import editable.
How are total assets calculated? from the log or based on your fleet?
