Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.
Please vote for the issue on the official bug tracker: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/21258
Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

Meanwhile at least some minor tweaks and improvements that were requested and that I can afford to upload safely (as I hope) before regular Inara update:
- sticky post for wing threads (you will find it in topic edit)
- option to unsubscribe wing thread (so you won't be alerted about new posts there anymore)
- on any wing page there is now displayed in which wing is a join request pending, just for case anyone applied to some wing long time ago and forgot which one

Artieoption to unsubscribe wing thread (so you won't be alerted about new posts there anymore)

i was wondering, is it possible to oblige someone who is joining a wing to write a message?
i don't know about the other wing, but i think that would be better to let a candidate make a little effort

Laynor Luna LagoonaHello Artie,

I think it would be better to simply require YOUR applicants to write a message (Put the instructions on your Page) and deny them if they don't. Writing a message is not a requirement for our squadron... and I don't feel it should be a requirement unless it serves a function.
Suggestion:
Place a drop down menu in the join request that helps Wing leaders Organize new members
Menu 1
Preferred Activity:
Combat/Trade/Exploration
Menu 2
Interaction Preference:
PvE/PvP/Both
*Message:
*Not required
Doing this will facilitate wing leaders to easily place members into the appropriate flights/squadrons

It will be an option in wing settings, also with text. So it will depend in wing preferences.

There will be something similar in a general commander's settings in the next update, which will be also displayed also in flight edit. So it can be easily changed when player's preferences will change over time. I was not thinking about PvE/PvP settings, but it's easy to add there.
MaddavoIs it possible to send a message to multiple people but not a wing discussion post? ie: a message to all members of a flight?
Currently it's not possible. I was thinking about enhancing private messaging this way and/or enhancing wing private threads settings where can be set visibility just for certain flights or squadrons, but it probably won't be sooner than after the next update (depends how fast I will implement remaining stuff I want to have there ).

then the candidate would click on JOIN and see the *wing recruiting rules or else* and could post a comment before to send his request.
would be better this way i guess

In the history of powerplay of any faction it would be useful displaying also the lost systems

Koreldan: There are no plans for such exports at this moment. Just for curiosity - how it should be used outside Inara? The lost systems are recorded in the history, but, there is no general overview of those systems, just current systems. Maybe there will be something similar there in the graph displaying each power "performance" later...
