Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.
Please vote for the issue on the official bug tracker: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/21258
Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

I know there are some people out there who, like me, get into the foreplay of the game and it would be nice if I could post up the back story to my character.

The ability to edit the 2nd column in the signature with maybe some extra stuff like credit balance/assets or other stats if you later expand on it for example I believe someone wanted to see if you could let us see how many light years we've "clocked" in from the flight-log.

Reason: Would be useful when working on trade routes and referring to Inara's market data.

Artie... or, small update: It's now possible to set any logbook entry as character profile/biography and it's displayed on front profile page for visitors.

Zatzai: Hmmm... I would like to have better insight how it should be typically used. It should help to track commodities between Inara screen and game screen? Or between different Inara markets? Should it be kept between sessions? Is it something that can be solved be possible "favorite commodities" feature, which can also highlight these commodities on market page?

ArtieKuumies: It seems Galnet changed a news format little bit. Fixed, thank you for report.

Well here is my current use case. I'm trying to develop some trade routes for the Lavigny Inquisitors. We're making an effort to manipulate the background simulation of the game to prop up certain minor factions. This is being done by turning in exploration data, fighting in combat zones and now also by trading with certain stations. Most the the trade tools focus on getting the best profit, but profit is actually our secondary objective. So what I have to do is visit each system with an Inquisitor Tribunal and see what stations are controlled by what minor factions (We're only interested in stations controlled by Empire Patronage/Feudal factions). Write down those stations and see if I can come up with a trade route between all these different specific factions that is hopefully profitable.
How am I doing this? Well I after having visited all the systems in Elite and writing down what stations are controlled by what factions (Unless I could get that data from the system map, in which case I didn't have to visit), I now have Microsoft OneNote open on one screen and Inara on another. Here's an example screenshot...

So right now I am highlighting (Via drag select) one line at a time in the export list and then typing it into OneNote. This is because I can only choose favorite systems not favorite stations (Though using the favorite systems function does help). I would love to be able to highlight multiple different lines (Not necessarily lines next to each other) by clicking on them. This would just make it a lot easier to keep track of what I need to transcribe into my notes as I go along.
So I'm not looking for any permanence here, just like a javascript or something to make that cell change color (ie highlight) when you click on it, and to change it back when you click on it again. Kinda like how it does from mouse-over events, but one that would toggle stickyness from a mouse-down event. It would be ok if it forgot it all if I refreshed the page or something.

(Also enhancing favorites for the stations may be good and for now easier to do, I will try to add it there as well)

ArtieAha! So it seems to be perfect fit for "favorite routes" and their sharing. It's something I'd like to do, so it's on ToDo list definitely.

Cool, thanks.

Yes, there is always a but, but I can't change the settings to publish my log entries.
Any ideas?
