Commanders having Elite from Epic games store with http 400 error
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.

Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

Quilvein: I will check... Indeed, there was a bug, fixed too.

Just some other fixes:
- the issue with missing blueprints in ship loadouts should be resolved (will have effect on the next ship loadout update)
- the class 6 slot for Chieftain fixed. I am just not sure what is wrong with the description? It should match the in-game text
- fixed an issue with the journals import where the new ship was added to the fleet twice

would it be possible to split the material traders into their 3 categories? that way we can search for specific ones instead of just a list of all of them

Artie, couple changes to the Type-7 I noticed weren't in the Shipyard:

-Max class for the power plant is now 5.
-The ship has a class 2 optional slot in addition to the existing slots.

Minor update (and also to respond the posts ):
- Guardian materials added
- Guardian modules and tech broker unlocks added
- Guardian ammo for synthesis added
- Type-7 slots fixed
- Distinction for material trader and tech broker types added to the "Nearest..." lists (but having it separated in the search isn't probably necessary, as there is plenty of them all around and it just adds the complications)

first great work on getting all the 3.0 stuff in inara for launch,  I was very impressed with that...    

One extra feature that would be really cool to extend what you've done on the engineering front, is to add a material trade calculator, based on our current inventory, similar to how the in game trader works, but with added hints on which would be the best to convert from especially  if this could be combined with your favourite blueprint functionality .

ie if you're missing X Mat or Y data info in your favoute blueprint,then inara suggests that you can convert Z mat/data total do the enhancement.

the secret sauce here is that Inara (could give the option to) filter out all the mats/data that are required as of your favourite blueprints from those used in the reccomended Z list so you always only convert the non essential mats with the trader!


OK just seen the crafting updates.... just need to swap my favourite blueprints over to the new system !!!

When i exchange some materials in the material trader i don't see them on the cargo page, but the ones i obtained by mining or scanning appears

I love the new crafting lists, so very usefull.  I do have a suggestion though...

Add a totals row to the bottom.  I noticed if I have two blueprints configured using the same material, such as Charge Enhanced PD and Dirty Drives, it tells you that you need 5  Cracked Ind Firmware when in fact you need 10 to do both (based on number of rolls you choose of course).  A total row would resolve that.

Another idea, it might be nice if we could create groups of crafting lists (i.e. per ship) so we could plan out entire ship projects in advance.

I have something on my mind for the material exchange suggestions, so there may be an improvements in that area. Also, it may provide the overall list of material needed. Meanwhile, there are these numbers visible on the Cargo page ("need" and "have" columns). No immediate plans for the crafting lists grouping, although it may be useful (I may take a look on it later). But I hope it can be currently also solved by custom names, as the lists are ordered by it.

The journal import should handle that correctly, but EDMC updates via API may be wrong for that. As far as I know, there should be a new EDMC version released today and I expect it will work with it.

i noticed my guardian materials arent showing up in my inventory. tried updating with journal files too and still 0 for all guardian related stuff. is there something up with that?

I have added the guardian materials just today, so any recent updates should work. I have just imported my journal and there is no issue with that.

I have one more suggestion. In your crafting list, could you add a link back to the engineer page on the Blueprint name.

Hey Artie,

Would you consider adding a trade routing capability to the site; something similar to the loop and multi-hop feature of EDDB? The best trades out of and into a station, and local loops is already here and awesome, but "best profit" for any two end-points would be grand.

Yes, I will add it there. But the blueprint details are visible in the crafting list details/edit, too.
