Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

SlubmanAm I the only one for whom the discussion boards read state are not being updating anymore?
Even though I read all the unread post, they are still being shown as unread. For example when accessing the « Updates, bug reports, requests » discussion board I end-up on page 445.
You are not. The bug causing it was fixed right now, please visit the respective threads to reset the new posts count and it should work correctly after that.

Unrelated to that I've been thinking about materials. I've been using Blueprints to Craft set to 0 in my plan-ahead blueprints to "turn off" missing components for engineering that isn't my short-term focus. Let's me eyeball a little easier what materials I need to actually go after by cross-referencing that screen and the cargo list's Need column. But I noticed that when I go into a blueprint set to zero like that it resets that field to 1 on load.
I'm also thinking of prototyping with tampermonkey a hover or modal on the cargo list for materials that shows the counts of materials I have in either a same-category row or full grid somewhat like the material trader screen so I can eyeball, between haves and needs, what I can convert at a trader for me needs and what I just have to go hunt down.
I have fixed that reset to 1 in the count field, if do you want to use it that way.
For the material conversion I think the Missing components section is fulfilling its role better, but I may eventually extend the tooltips for that later.

yeah- marco qwent, blueprints isn't there. "Nothing about grade 2 power plant"
marco quent main engineering page, nothing listed about G2 power plant.
"anything on main engineering page does not read "G2 Power plant."
it is listed on the blueprint details though. Thanks.

I participated in one of the community goals recently, and uploaded my journal post-flight as usual. Inara has registered my contribution to the goal, but it hasn't automatically changed the "Are you participating?" selector to "Yes". (I've done so myself.)
If it knows I've made contributions, can it / should it not also automatically switch to show that I've participated?
(It's not something I make much use of, so not a big deal, but I'm curious!)

And now going through all the other threads shows "Unsubscribe from this thread" on top-right, which I click, go to the next, click that button again etc... but now going back to any of those I just did that on still shows that on the button, instead of "Subscribe to this thread".
So is the subscription thing just broken for me ?

I also think that once you open any of the other threads you are automatically subscribed to that thread - on the occasions that you do look at those threads you probably need to unsubscribe before you leave.

TuzoArtie altered the default landing page to the 'General/Game Talk' thread to minimise the amount of general posts ending up in the Updates thread.
Which is now costing me an extra click (and the site an extra page load). Any chance of having click on 'Discuss' take unread counts into account? I'd be fine with landing on any I'm subscribed to.

The engineers, etc. shows the max. grade they are able to engineer, not all the grades.

Yep, currently it's not made. There was some issue with it (I do not remember which at the moment, but I have it in my notes and to-do list) and I will take a look on it later.
TuzoI'm sure the roster (or Edit Roster) used to show the player's platform, but I can't see this information now - is this a deliberate change?
It was never present in roster edit and is still present on the wing roster. However, there may be some issue on the very low resolutions with table being cut, I have made few changes to improve it.

Yep, it is a way. I have added a note to the button when auto-subscribing enabled to make this more obvious.
