Commanders having Elite from Epic games store with http 400 error
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.

Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

I was wondering if it would be possible to include a primary role+secondary role option on the inara signature line like it does with the cmdr log

Hmm... that seems to be a big jump from grade 4. Does grade 4 (and previous grades) fit the values here?

all grades on the site are wrong. reinforced shield generator blueprint are wrong too as i remember. sry i cant post right numbers - ED is ureachable for me for couple days

Just a minor feature added to the Galaxy page - security report. It contains a brief overview of recent murders, so it may make your travels a little bit safer. It doesn't contain piracy/interdictions, though (as pirates also need to eat for something).


Sk93hoping this is the right place.... the Material trader listed for the Juan system / Lyell Hub station is incorrect.
It is listed as being a raw materials trader, but it's actually a manufactured items trader.
The station is correctly listed as a Refinery / Industrial economy however.

Thanks, it seems there is some complication for this combination type of economies, I will take a closer look on it tomorrow.

Well, not in the single line, as it may be too long (that's why just the primary role is there at this moment). I am not sure if secondary in another field won't look odd, but I may add it there eventually.

got another manufactured trader that is listed as raw on the site. its in the system "Baila" at Celsius Gateway. another 'industrial/refinery' economy as well

An image hosting service. Imgur for one, Dropbox is another. There are a few, there are others I'm sure.

I've been updating to Inara with EDMC and even manual journal uploads, but some things haven't synced. The only one I've noticed so far is that The Dweller still shows as "no access", but in the game he's unlocked up to grade 5.

@Artie: is not possible change Inara API functioning for engineers when now they are going only up? And maybe use it as workaround to missing journal info about engineer unlock?

Update and improvements for nearest material traders/tech brokers: after another consultation with FD it seems it's problematic and unreliable to determine trader/broker type just by (multiple) economies. Thus, there is a change - material trader and tech broker types are now updated from the journal records and can be also set manually in the station edit. All known types were filled in retrospectively, so it should provide solid starting data for further updates.

As mentioned in the journal uploads - the engineer reputation levels are updated just on a level change, because currently there are no levels for all engineers known in the journal. API does just what is send to it, so it's app dependent (some app may be doing the update just on a change, some app may do all engineers update (if it somehow manage to get all the engineer levels) and some app may do no update at all). It is nothing I can affect.
