Commanders having Elite from Epic games store with http 400 error
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.
Please vote for the issue on the official bug tracker: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/21258

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.

Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

Naoto S.Hi, it must be exhausting to deal with a lot of reports posted here and am sorry for adding another one but...
I am now out exploring a bit and noticed that star system page of HIP 18077 shows there are two stations in this system, but the fact is the outpost named "Idc Reaserch Base" is from HIP 18007, not HIP 18077.... just one wrong number and it's hard to spot.
I was looking for a way to edit the system and seems I can add/edit stations to systems, but not delete it.
There are a few stations that do not exist in star system pages I found so if there is a way to get rid of them, it would be nice to know.

Thanks for all of your efforts and am continually amazed by this web site.

Just keep on reporting wrongly placed stations here. There is no user-accessible delete feature to avoid trolls.

Yeah, we can delete stations. I deleted some the other week that Broomhandle reported. I deleted this one too.

For starters, awesome page...i really know how much work goes into that.
Anyway, i wanted to ask if its not too much work if you can add character statistics to the bottom of the comanders log front page. I like to check out that from time to time ( even ingame ) and it would be handy there XD

Thanks for the web site, it is an essential go to for elite dangerous . I play on Xbox and update my materials when planning engineering projects. When I complete a blue print, would it be possible to give me an option to automatically deduct the mats from my list? ( allowing me to adjust for number of rolls) Thanks for all the hard work. Toe4

While doing black market runs to Sol for unlocking the Dweller, I noticed that the item Muon Imager in not illegal in Sol system, although the market page states that it is. Should be fixed.

Minor suggestion for the Cargo page under Cargo and Crafting. The current layout of the page is that materials and data are listed alphabetically in three categories: Raw, Manufactured, and Data. This is a really great way to navigate the list of materials... but I thought it might also be useful to be able to view my materials and data inventory on a single page with another level of grouping, where that second level of grouping was based on the groups of materials found at material traders e.g. Thermic, Capacitors, Shields, etc... With the current view I can see that I have 35 Military Supercapacitors, and that I have 0 Polymer Capacitors, but I can't see that both of these materials are within a single trading "row / group" at a material trader (i.e. they can be traded at a x3 ratio instead of a x6).

I know there's already a page for missing components, but that only shows me how to get components for blueprints that I've put into my crafting list. I'm more interested in knowing that I have a "healthy supply" of materials in each of the material trader groups. I'm pretty sure you already have the data to do the sub-grouping on this page because if you click into a material's detail page you can see the "subtype" listed e.g. "raw group 6" for arsenic, or "capacitors" for military supercapacitors. I'm not sure if the table view in your theme supports more than 2 levels of grouping, or if the div classes would have to be seriously re-worked to because the data isn't present in class inventorymaterial or inventorymaterialcont.

Love the site, use it all the time. Thanks again for such an awesome resource.

Artie
TuzoArtie, only just found the Auto promote feature which would certainly save doing the process individually. The only thing that puts me off using it is that it sweeps up inactive players also.

Would it be possible to add a third selection box to define online (Inara) activity (or default it to something like 21 days)?

Something will be added.

Any timescale for this Artie?

Request:
add a 'hide ship' tag to the ship edit/ship details.
And a new category 'hidden fleet' under 'fleet and modules', so the ships with that tag are not shown on the fleet page and wing rosters, but on a separate page just visible to the CMDR.

For us ship and module hoarders out there ;-)
(I mostly do not use the inara API or log uploads - which are a brilliant feature! - due to it messing up the fleet display)

Probably in the following week, I need to finish some internal changes first.

Thank you for the suggestion. I think I have some similar improvements that on my ToDo, so it will be added there at some point with it.

Hmmm... it seems like an error or outdated information, I will fix that, thank you for the info.

I have it on my ToDo, but no ETA for it yet.

Do you mean like the in-game stats? They are present there already. As they are quite extensive, I rather do not want to push it into front-page, but you can create a shortcut for it to your menu bar.

Yes, that overview is useful. Unfortunately, the favorability evaluation is not consistent and despite requests, Frontier has not clarified exactly how it works — the running assumption is that it does not work correctly! Because of this inconsistency, the "fortification bonus applied" marker that you have is not always correct. Please view Maorsi as an example: this system is 8/17 yet has a favorable trigger and none of its exploited systems are contested.

With that said, contested systems are important to trigger calculations. Being able to see an overview of all populated systems within 15 LY of a control system is valuable for other reasons, too.

I would say that if a system is overlapped by multiple control systems, listing all of them would be helpful. If a system is contested, then it doesn't give priority to either contesting control system. If it's overlapped (shared) by two control systems from the same power, one of them does receive its income, but I do not believe there is any way to determine which without being in-game to look at CC figures.

Thank you for the details. I will take a look on it...

To be honest, I am not very willing to add such specific functionality here as it is just a workaround of the game storage limits, has no other purpose and brings just unnecessary complications. You can re-order the ships to have the "storages" on the bottom, so it may be the solution instead?

I had already considered that (but I'm not fond of it, due to wing statistics)
But, no problem, I can deal with it. :-)
Thanks for replying!

Thanks Artie. Great to hear. And great work on such an amazing tool.

Good day Cmdrs!

Any chance Inara would become usable for console users in the future? Such a great app and resource, just a pity I cannot use it since I'm on Xbox One...

Unfortunately, it depends on Microsoft/Sony's politics and partially on FD (to provide something like journals on consoles, when allowed by MS/Sony). There is nothing I can do about it, although I would like to.
14 May 2018, 8:55pm
Out of curiosity, from the last post, has anyone from Inara contacted either Sony/MS to ask about this? You tend to find such large companies as those don't approach such resources as these, and sometimes it takes a hand reaching out to make things happen.

Worth a shot?

Either way, I love what this place does, and I think we should all be thankful this place exists in the first place.

Keep up the good work!
14 May 2018, 10:19pm
It doesn't worth a shot. Such things are always between the publisher/developer of the game and MS/Sony. None 3rd party site/tool can do anything about it.
