Commanders having Elite from Epic games store with http 400 error
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.

Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

Thanks for mentioning it. It was some remnant after the Maelstrom was destroyed, it seems that I should clean such systems more aggressively as they are not going through the usual cycle (invaded-lost-recovery).

Seems about right… if it helps determine a further workaround/the issue, it’s a system that was originally immediately captured when the Maelstrom/Titan arrived in December of 2022(3308), and as such just never transitioned through the invasion stage, going straight to ‘Controlled’. Which can reliably be applied to everything in a rough 15 light year shell around them. The ones that have been destroyed, at least, and/or have had all their systems completed (looks at Taranis).

Hi Artie,
when looking at https://inara.cz/elite/thargoidwar-locations/, at the bottom (if your current location is in the Bubble, that is) of the page you can see seven stations in the Witch Head Nebula region that are either Damaged or Under Attack.
These stations, in fact, are all abandoned, and I believe have been so since June last year. As those systems were never subject to normal Thargoid War rules I guess they fell through the proverbial cracks, and now that the stations are abandoned, it is not possible to dock there and have their status automatically updated. As I do not see any way to set a station status to abandoned, I think you ought to do it yourself
(Disclaimer: I just checked the status of the stations in the Wellington, Evangelis, Haki, and Lembass systems via the in-game map. I cannot do the same for Onoros, as I have never visited that system; but given the pattern, I think it is safe to assume they are abandoned as well.)

As all the systems except for Shenve had their systems abandoned (without the systems themselves switching to 'Controlled' or unpopulated state ...), it is indeed a fairly safe guess to make. But I recall being out there and poking most or all the assaulted systems when the whole attack thing happened, so I'll see if I can double check myself tomorrow.

Thank you. I have set all the stations in the star systems affected as abandoned and as they are outside the regular Thargoid war mechanics as mentioned, they will get unset only when somebody will be able to dock in there (and update them). But I suppose it should be reliable enough.

Just wondering: for bonus points on Samaritian and Captain achievements, how do rescues from Tharg infested systems actually count? If I ship injured/wounded/refugees, are they considered rescues or passengers? Or do they count for both?

For the Samaritan medal the items and refugees/passengers rescued via the Thargoid-related missions there count. I think the game counts those refugees also into the number of passengers delivered in the game stats (or at least it was as far as I remember), so it should also progress the Captain medal.

Yup, I’m quite certain it does.
Also, items delivered to Search & Rescue count towards Commodities Traded, so they progress the Trader medal.

Please add a "From Station or STAR SYSTEM" option to the Trade Routes Search "From Station" search box.
It is such a pain in the a** having to copy/past a Station name into the From Station field every time
I want to trade from a System regardless of the station. Hope you understand what I'm asking.

Hello, it's not very likely - even the one-to-many trade route searches are one of the most expensive things (performance-wise) and adding additional (often dozens) source stations into the mix can have quite significant impact (at least without sacrificing the results quality via increasing various limits used for the optimization). But, by a quick check I assume you may be using EDMC or a similar tool? It should pre-fill the station you are currently in via API into the searches, so you do not need to copy&paste it there?

If it's updating your CMDR data via API (so you have Inara API key set there), it should happen automatically - it will send your location to Inara which will update your location + add an entry into your flight log + fill the location name into all searches (unless there is another location set manually with a newer timestamp).

Hi,

I was told by someone in my squadron they experienced a similar issue to mine and recommended I reach out for help. My Fleet Carrier won't seem to update in Inara. I use EDMC and have no issue with my information getting tracked. I have had the FC for about a week (https://inara.cz/elite/station/603437/) but the details of the FC don't seem to update. Happy to troubleshoot and figure out if there is something wrong on my end, but I can't seem to find anything. Help is much appreciated
