Commanders having Elite from Epic games store with http 400 error
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.
Please vote for the issue on the official bug tracker: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/21258

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.

Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

Thanks, both things fixed. Crafting lists trading hints adjusted, Guardian Wreckage Component name corrected.

Trooper1023 I've checked on g5RF on huge MC, as well. It's the same 78.6% increase.

After a quick check, it is indeed a case of basic rate of fire and how are the values presented, I should put some note about it to the blueprints.

Pulse laser has stock ROF 3.2 shots per second, which means one shot per 312ms. With the grade 5 blueprint is ROF 44% faster, which means one shot per 175ms. Translated to shots per second it is 5.7 shots per second, which corresponds to the value on the screenshot (as there is some rounding involved, the 0.1 difference is acceptable). But, the game represents the percentage from the final ROF values: 3.2 * 1.786 = 5.7 (once again, some rounding involved). So, it's correct, just confusing...

In fact it does not depend on the base ROF at all.

The 44% is a reduction of the interval between shots; thus, the modified interval is 1 − 0.44 = 0.56 of the original interval. But the game UI shows rate of fire (ROF), not the interval. ROF = 1 / interval; modified ROF = 1 / 0.56 ≈ 1.786, hence the +78.6% increase reported in the game UI.

Thanks, guys.

Sampi: Yep, by base rate of fire I've meant those intervals, just chose the wrong words.

Hi, Just a quick issue I noticed, after the last update, it looks like the cargo count is off, i.e. it looks like it's doubled for the Guardian mats...
Here is the data from my log...
EDIT: Looks like all of them have doubled

Heater: Thanks for the report - the issue should be fixed and your inventory will be corrected on the next update via API/journal.

Hey guys, I'm having trouble putting in my ships value. I think you guys have changed it from what it used to be, where I would just put in my rebuy cost and boom done. now I have to find out ship cost a module cost which is a bit annoying since you can't find that in game.

(hope someone can help me out here thanks)

For some reason Credits and Assets on my CMDR log haven't updated since 18 August. Importing logs has no effect on it, though they do work for Flight Log. Is this a known issue?

Yep, it was changed a while ago. It was complicated to keep it in-line with the modules/hull values of the ships coming from the journals, because I need to know those values and it's not possible to get it just from the rebuy value. I understand it's not so easy and straightforward as simply putting the rebuy cost there, but it was necessary. But, at least, after the putting the correct hull price (you can simply click the common values below the input box) it's just about fiddling with modules value there, until the rebuy costs fits.

That's odd. Please send me few of your latest journals to elite@inara.cz, I will check it out. The only reason that comes to my mind is that your credits state is exactly the same since 18 August (then there isn't a newer record inserted), but that possibly isn't the case.

Hi Artie,

The currently ongoing Community Goals seem to lack description. Is this an error?
30 Aug 2018, 4:31pm
It is not, it was always updated manually as there is currently no way how to get it automatically. So sometimes I do it, sometimes it's made by one of our commanders here. Feel free to update it.

A minor frustration with "Outfitting" "Search".

"Reactive Surface Composite for Imperial Clipper" is a bit of a mouth-full and does not fit in the search box.

With several ships its hard to land on the right one.

The most I see is, "Reactive Surface Composite For Imperi"
