Commanders having Elite from Epic games store with http 400 error
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.

Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

Hi Inara developers,

What a great site so far! That's coming sincerely from a long time web developer.

While enjoying the new add/edit a Wing feature and putting in an optional description, I noticed an issue. What happens is that when I save the Wing and then edit it again, I get characters in the description which I didn't originally enter.

At first it I thought it was your garden variety web or database encoding issue, but now I think it may be a problem in the editor component or maybe a problem with one or more versions of Chrome and the editor component.Just guesses from a limited view of course.

Edit: Oh, looks like my version of Chrome on this PC is out of date. Maybe it's a false alarm. I'll update later tonight and see if it's fixed. At one point these special characters which where showing up during the editing caused half the description to not be saved.

I am not aware any issues with editor (except one minor problem with quotes escaping, which was fixed yesterday), so if do you will find a way how to replicate issue mentioned, it will be helpful. Maybe it was caused by copy&paste from another software?

Another update, this time with market stuff:
  • EliteOCR import support: just select *.csv file, click the button and... done.
  • Fixed rare bug with misleading export/import/round trips routes
  • Extended export/import/round trips tables (it shows more routes now)

Nice one!

All EliteOCR users. Please, pleace check every lines (Do not use that "Automatically add results with high confidence") EliteOCR is nice little thing, but there's always danger especially numbers 1 and 3

I do not want to anymore find or see markets, where you can buy Palladium about 11305 cr/ton ;-)

There are pretty strict price limits set, especially for most frequent commodities. Also, any single error will abort whole import, so I hope there should be no problems with it.

Yes, it was limited by distance set in Settings. In any case - both done. So, "Nearest" now shows nearest imperial/federal/alliance stations ignoring distance set and search now works with station names, too.

Hey Artie.

Loving the improvements.

I was wondering if it would be possible to show the icon for the largest available landing pad before or after the station name in the Export to / Import from / Round trip panels, or perhaps add it to the tooltip.

It's possible and quite trivial. Unfortunately, I cannot do it now as there are other improvements in the work and I cannot put it online yet. So it will be in the next update.
Meanwhile, you can also restrict landing pad sizes for market in your Settings, if it helps...

Ah yes I'd forgotten about that, mainly because, since IE11 is set as default browser, when I click the desktop INARA link it uses IE and the setting page does not work well in IE.



When I remember I use Chrome for it.

Can we join more than one Wing? Reason being, I would like to have a special "event" wing (Eagle only events) but also be in my regular wing.

It's not possible at this moment, wings here were designed more like traditional MMO guilds. The point is to have stable populated wings rather than many minor wings. But, we can extend it later and allow multiple wing membership and/or allow establishing "sub-wings" inside the existing ones.

Update with some stuff mentioned earlier...

CMDR's log overhaul and other improvements:
  • all commander profiles are now publicly visible, so you can show your progress to your friends or anybody else
  • image signatures for forums added, you will find it in your CMDR profile
  • more detailed sections for credits, achievements and personal fleet
  • improved credit balance history with additional statistics
  • improved achievements, visual ranks and fix for undeletable ship achievements
  • ships in your personal fleet now have additional features (own ship images, dock location, etc.)
  • favorites management moved to CMDR's log
  • additional option added to Settings for credit balance sharing (it's off by default)
  • added support for Powerplay update (will be further tweaked when game patch 1.3 arrive)
  • minor improvements for commodity page in Market
  • additional tweaks and fixes of other Inara sections

Hey, quick concern with the signature. There is no word wrap when it generates so with long wing names you get something like this :
