Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.
Please vote for the issue on the official bug tracker: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/21258
Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

Thanks for all that you do for this community. In the commodities search filter could you possibly add a "None" option for the powers? I would like to look for PP acquisition systems to sell mined commodities to. Unless there is another place I am unaware of to do this.
Thanks again

ArtieAh, shoot, I forgot to alter the idents for the engineered SCOs and so they were picked first instead of regular ones during the lookup, thank you for the report. The issue was fixed, so the next loadout update will correct it. It seems there is not possible to distinguish between regular and engineered SCOs as the moment, as they appear as the regular long range SCOs in the journal (so even those bought as engineered will appear as regular).
Quick workaround is that the value of engineered FSDs is 0Cr, since you didn't buy them.

We have a long document in our Documents directory I would like to create links to sections.
I don't HTML much so I looked it up.
Sez to use <a href="section 1">Click here to go to Section 1/a>
Then farther down add the link. <a href="#section1">Section 1/a>
Doesn't work.
Can I add links to locations in a document here?

Hello, thanks for the suggestion - yeah, I can add it there, just not at the moment (I am in the middle of some code refactoring, so after that will be done).

That's a good tip, thanks! I will check if the module value is reliably provided in all relevant journal events, but it may be a way.

Hello, not a the moment as there is an anchor needed (id="something") for the elements you want jump to. I guess I can add it as an option for some elements - noted, but won't be probably here soon, so you can think about splitting the document into multiple parts meanwhile.

I was just wondering if you had another way.
Cheers!

On another issue, I am looking for systems in specific states (Outbreak, Famine, etc.) and I have been trying to use Search Nearest, with Minor Faction or System and set the state and search. Many times the faction or system has a State of "Normal" when I click on the results. I'm a little hesitant to run off to one of these systems if the state doesn't match what I'm looking for. Interestingly, I have the same problem with EDSM. I'm guessing there's something goofy with FD's logs?

Happy DazeSorry about the message from Evil... boy gets away from me sometimes!

I suppose by "Many times the faction or system has a State of "Normal" when I click on the results" is meant a state in the in-game galaxy map, right? I am not entirely sure how the game displays the star system states, I think it may be just for the controlling faction (as the faction with the highest influence), so for that case the search like this should be best. If you don't mind the faction's influence, then you can search for a minor faction instead (be aware that checking the "only controlling factions" will provide slightly different results, as it groups the records by a faction, not by a star system). Unless the game journal is reporting entirely false states, it should correspond to what is in the game, regardless what the galaxy map shows.

It is not, alas. There is a bug in the game I have noticed some time ago: when you exit outfitting after changing some modules and the game writes a Loadout event, the Value data of any module that has changed is the value of the module that was previously installed in the slot, not the actual value of the new module (so the values can be totally absurd, e.g. a docking computer that appears to cost 28 million). Ways to work around the bug in the game include:
- changing to another ship and back
- entering outfitting again, storing a module, then retrieving the exact same module into the exact same slot
- relogging
