Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.
Please vote for the issue on the official bug tracker: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/21258
Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

No, I think they've advanced, too. That's the only pic I've seen so far, though. There's a discord somewhere that's coordinating the grind and used for tracking everybody's engineering iterations that go into it. I'll post again if I find more info.
Great, thank you!
WindwardsHello Artie,
just for the record:
For any reason the status of access to engineers is daily repeated in the Achievement History (although there was no change).
Best,

Hello, I am not sure where the problem is - I see that your reputation with engineers is pending back and forth and so it is also causing these records in the history (which is a correct behaviour, as it should record any changes). However, that reputation swings are odd, do you can send me your journal files made for last few days to elite@inara.cz, please? I will check what is happening in there.
I also see you are running two applications at once (ELA and EDDiscovery), I recommend to use just one of them - my bet is it that's the cause of these swings as one of the apps may report the different reputations sooner than the other, etc.

So far the only requests sent from my account were to people I fly with, but it seem to not be the case for all people. Needless to say this is a bad idea to do things for the user without their explicit agreement.

Was looking in the outfitting section last night (again this morning) and I see it shows the pulse wave analyzer at 0cr. I checked the outfitting at the Beckman Terminal in the Aphra system and the E thru B size are the same price as the other 3 types of scanners. They don't sell an A size there so I can't say for certain the A sizes are the same but I'll guess yes. Also, if you get your price info from the same place that Coriolis gets theirs then the prices are off on each one anywhere from a few credits to a couple thousand according to in game costs. Weird huh? You probably have more pressing matters than this but I thought I'd post it for your "back burner" projects.. hahaha Thanks for all you do here...

100.RUBAny reason Inara now sends friend requests on its own? After the recent update it sent 4 requests from my account and I accepted a number of incoming requests, all of which I recently discovered were automatic.

Inara does not send any requests on its own. However, there was added a support for friends requests/removal into Inara API with 3.3 update and apps may now use it to match your friends here to in-game friends. If do you won't like this behaviour, you can turn it off in your API key settings (I have added an option for that there just an hour ago).

Yeah, I didn't updated the prices for a new stuff yet. I didn't wanted to use the beta prices and didn't checked the in-game prices yet. But, if do you have them, without any discounts (including Elite rank discount), please list them there and I will update it. Otherwise, I will take a look on that later.

And there I was thinking someone wanted to be my friend. I received two friend request for the first time in years.

Hi Artie,
you were right. Running two applications caused the pending reputations. Once I stopped EDDiscovery and let run ELA only everything went fine.
thanks

Do I have to create a second Inara account for the PC or is the way to switch between the two on the app and the website?
Thanks

LuckypaladinQuestion, I play Elite Dangerous on two platforms XBOX and recently got a cheap copy of horizons on PC.
Do I have to create a second Inara account for the PC or is the way to switch between the two on the app and the website?
Thanks
You cannot combine the PC and platform accounts. There is much better sync ability between PC and Inara and the PC account than the console. It's due to console restrictions by Microsoft (and Sony) on the consoles.
That said, Inara is entirely independent. You can have a completely separate account on Inara if you wish - but the PC account can sync with Inara if you want.
