Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.
Please vote for the issue on the official bug tracker: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/21258
Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

Oreg JackmanI have a blog and use this - I would like to be able to send stuff from here to my blog for others to see. to promote this tool as much as talk about what I am doing.
Hmmm, I am thinking about possibilities. Just purely theoretically - as a blog owner, would you like to have your blog duplicated there, too?[/quote]
Not sure - my blog is ED only I could in theory move it over to here if there was a blog option - however I see a larger call for people who want to incorporate info into their blogs or indeed into their personal sites (I see sending stuff to FB as being a good idea too)(

Nope, right you are.

I was thinking some kind of an 'explorer diary' type of thing. I know I can do that from Achievements but it's somewhat cumbersome to manually type all the system names, especially those that are just a bunch of letters and numbers.
Not sure if I'm the only one but I'd like to keep track of the systems I've visited.

I guess "Commander's Log" would be more Elite: Dangerous-y however!

HyakugeiArtie - Well, when thinking about a name I can't help but reference Star Trek. Why not call it "Captain's Log"? Short and simple.

My blog I have called it 'ships log'

Ok, that's some direction, thanks...
Uvelius SangJust a minor thought, what about sorting inverse after date? Newest on top?
No problem, I will add it in next minor update.
Hamm3rWould it be possible to pull the current location data (as in the system I'm in) and with just a press of a button add it into a list?

You are not only one, Matt requested the same some time ago. There is just one issue that may leads to future problems - data size. Also, it is a lot of manual work for user and also not all systems are in the database (mostly just inhabited system plus some known from EDSC). I am not saying strict "no" on this, but I also want to wait what brings Frontier API. Maybe there will be elegant way how to obtain these data from them "ad-hoc".

That may be confusing with current CMDR's log and I am not very sure if that name fits twitter-like feature. Maybe we can go more in that direction, as something that informs about actual events, announce things, etc.?
Lase MoorayJust thinking, with the market it is listed that a station sells ships. I guess the ships on offer are reasonably stable, could the system be updated so we can list what ships are sold and their price. Then maybe be able to search for the closest specific ship based on the system you are in?
It was discussed earlier - it's not hard to do, but I am not very sure about the benefits. There is usually no problem to find desired ships in current system or other adjacent system. I am afraid not so much commanders will be willing to fill in this kind to information for each station.
LoriathKeep seeing this error on the Cmdr's Log / Credits and assets Under Estimated Credit Balance:
Uh, I forgot to handle negative "gains" there. It was fixed right now, thank you for report!

Is there any possibility to get station market information a little one-liner that can tells us with one quick look when the prices last updated?
Don't mind if the update datetime is for EliteOCR csv-dumb or just one price change.
