Commanders having Elite from Epic games store with http 400 error
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.
Please vote for the issue on the official bug tracker: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/21258

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.

Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

Allan JozyI have a feature request that would make navigating to systems found with INARA much easier in VR.  Could we have a 'copy to clipboard'-button next to system names in INARA, similar to what we have in EDDB (e.g. https://eddb.io/system/17072 )?  That way VR users can copy the system name in INARA (using a joystick controlled point and click cursor in VR) and paste it in the galaxy map (using voice control) to plot a route to it, all without leaving the cockpit (i.e. take off the VR headset).

ArtieYes, I think that I can add something there, at least to main star system pages.

Fantastic! Thanks Artie!

Artie, really appreciate the addition of the placeholders for inserting details of the new installations in our systems.

Just a few observations; You may be using a template for main stations/starports etc but the majority of this information is not relevant to the installations.
The basic information that can be gleaned is:
Name
Type of installation
Controlling Faction - it would be useful if once this is input, the details of government/allegiance could be drawn from the main database as used to be the situation when we manually input the station information.
Distance (in LS) is difficult to determine - on our database we have found the nearest planet to be a better indicator
There needs to be a choice for Anarchy in the controlling factions drop down

Artie, thank you for adding the extra page number selector on the Galnet Archive. Much better for navigating it now!

I agree, Makes it a lot nicely for navigating 10/10 my friend.

Hi Artie,

Now the stations are in a sortable table the facility details aren't listed any more which I used to find really useful.

However, this information could be added to the system pages and faction stations overview fairly easily.

You have icons next to the main stations which show the facilities. If you added these icons as column headers and then ticks in the table we could see which stations have which facility and still order the table.

Also, it would be nice to add material traders and intersteller factors to the icon list.

Hi team,

I do a lot of mining and have recently noticed that the graph that shows the seismic charge success (or not as the case maybe) is not behaving as well as it was last month. To be specific, when a charge was placed, if the charge wasn’t going to be successful, the display would remain in the orange segment and when a charge was to be successful, the display would be in the blue segment for a successful charge and an optimum yield or the red segment where the charge was too much and although the roid would splinter the yield would be poor. Nowadays the display can be orange, blue or red even if the roid wasn’t going to splinter

Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi, James T Dirk. I don't want to seem unhelpful but your post has nothing to do with reporting a bug here on Inara. Either post in the General game talk (to see if others have experienced this) or better still post on the Frontier Forums. Not sure what help you expected

Hey, just wondering if the galaxy rankings are no longer being maintained? I don't see links to it anywhere and my favorite is no longer loading?

Yep, I am using the same table as for the regular stations - that way it will be easier to upgrade/extend each installation in the future, if they will gain some regular services like other stations have and so on. So, it's also using the same input/edit form, but I may add some simpler dedicated form later. Good point about the government/allegiance taken from the controlling faction, it's something that can be used for the regular stations, too. The "anarchy" isn't actually a minor faction and my bet is it's just another expression how to tell "no minor faction" in the game, so it's best to keep it empty and I will adjust the outputs for installations eventually.

I will add something there.

Thank you for the details! I will update the engineers ASAP.

Jokergod2000Hey, just wondering if the galaxy rankings are no longer being maintained? I don't see links to it anywhere and my favorite is no longer loading?

Yes, as announced months ago, the rankings were a subject for removal and weren't maintained for a while. However, there are currently some ways opening how to get valid commander stats for all platforms, which aren't a subject of any manipulation, so rankings may be back some day (as an optional feature, players will choose if they will like to be in there or not).

That would be cool. It was my favorite (honor system) part of Inara.

REQUEST: Update to
Outfitting, Technology Broker, Corrosion Resistant Cargo Rack - "How to obtain" description.
Since the upgrade, Darnielle's Progress | MAIA is only droping 2 Meta Alloys per 10-15 mins ish.
NEOFABRIC INSULATION is also obtainable from "Wrecked Mega Ships" & Mission rewards in a Tourist System.

Wow Artie, that is what I call service! We need to get you a job at FDev working on their BGS.

The new station services tab looks fab. Really really useful. Many thanks.

Oh, one thing I would ask, could you add the services column to the faction overview page where it lists all the stations that a faction owns. It would be so useful to be able to see in a single place which services we have and which we still need to get. It will be great when planning expansion.

And another thing, could you add the html titles to blanks so we know what we don't have at a station. When the entire column is blank I don't know what the column refers to.

Hey Artie!

When did you add the small services icons to the station names/buttons as seen in the Market tab?

They're awesome! Such a little thing, but such a huge "quality of life" improvement. Thank you!!

Wow, really sorry for upsetting you and wasting your valuable time. I had been in the “General / game talk” earlier and posted before realising I had swapped forums. The nature of the post was to see if this was a general problem or something specific to the way I was interpreting the scan. You can be sure I will think twice before posting again Sir. Once again apologies. Please don’t trouble yourself to reply to this as you making me look a complete idiot once was really enough.
