Commanders having Elite from Epic games store with http 400 error
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.

Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

Just a notice, mainly for console commanders: Temporarily (probably until tomorrow), the Import Frontier data feature doesn't update your location, ranks and credits, just ships. But don't worry, you will miss nothing and it will "catch up" later.

Thanks for the heads up Artie - thought I had done something wrong at my end.

FWIW - as someone returning to this game after a year out, and having been a long time EvE Online player, I think INARA is very, very good. Clearly presented, and making the most of the API available to you. I hope you get as much enjoyment creating it as I do using it.

Guys, I would like to test one upcoming feature (journal updates from Frontier server) with a wider group of people. I am especially interested in console players, so if do you want to test that (it shouldn't mess your profile, in the worst case the update simply will stop), please send me a PM and I will tell you further instructions. No additional testers needed.

Game journal import improvements and 3.4 game update

The game update 3.4 is going out today and there is also a related Inara update. It's a quite short list, but one of the features there is a stepping stone for another stuff in the near future...
  • Major improvements of Import Frontier Data feature - it's now possible to import game journals online, directly from Frontier's servers, so you don't need to upload them manually. And yes, it works for console players as well. Flight logs, mission logs, reputation states, materials, cargo, everything is now available for XBox/PS4 commanders, too! (Of course, after the Frontier's servers will go online.)
  • Added Conflicts tab on minor faction pages and squadron faction overview, to provide more details about actual conflicts (should be properly populated by data after 3.4 game update).
  • Updated ship slots and modules for the 3.4 game update.

Yes, he confirmed it will be fixed a week ago. But no idea when it's going to be fixed, it's up to EDDiscovery guys.

One quick fix - there was a bug preventing the journal updates made in the last 30 minutes, but it should work now. So, update your profiles again when necessary.
