Commanders having Elite from Epic games store with http 400 error
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.
Please vote for the issue on the official bug tracker: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/21258

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.

Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

Hi

This might be a little thing for you to fix, but would mean the world to me when it comes to navigate the page.
Could you make it so that the "Squadron" under another CMDR's profile is linking to the squadron?

Also the squadron-name underneath the nickname on the forums, that would be amazing.

I have a small request, if already requested, no worries. But would it be possible to also allow console players to access to use our API?

I may be going about this wrong, if so my apologies on the approach, but I use the big three for Elite ( eddb, edsm, and inara ) so far edsm was able to allow console users to track some of their information. Though its useful for personal stats, I'm looking more at the BGS side of inara along with the commodities and anything ship related.

If this is something in the works sweet. If not, it would be a great asset for all platforms as well as a way to keep system information up to date as well, from my personal perspective.

Cheers everyone

Yes, there is something in the works. I suppose it will be ready to use next week, but no promises yet.

Commanders,
there was added a new feature, which is also a testing step before moving forward with other things - Frontier account linking. In that regard, there was also a short paragraph added to Privacy policy, covering Frontier and player data.
You will find this feature under your Commander settings. The account linking should set your commander details (platform, name and FrontierID) automatically, doesn't matter the platform used. It will also set a "Verified" status to your account, which is displayed in your profile and in squadron join requests.

Please, report any issues or if the instructions weren't clear enough.

Worked for me. Was unsure whether to go for Steam or Frontier (as I bought ED through Steam and obviously have a Frontier account)

Went with Frontier, in case that helps any other CMDR's.

Likewise, I was unsure but as I bought through Steam that's what I did it as and was fine, so looks like either works for PC users that purchased through Steam

Yeah, both options should provide same results as both are PC versions, but... just in case.

Linking my Playstation account went without hitch, awesome thanks

Can't really express how happy I am about this feature coming, it has been such a pain enter all things manually
