Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

I am curious, I notice that we have a Discord chat widget which tells us how many people are online on our specified server. Could Inara be updated to instead use the Discord iframe widget so we could chat on our discord directly from Inara? I am pushing my people to utilize both platforms as each one has it's advantages and combining them in one spot could be really advantageous for everyone not just our group.
Going along with this we utilize Google calendar and Google forms, is it possible for us to be able to embed these tools in our Sticky posts so members can view events and shared resources? I apologize as I asked you this before, but I have been working on some Discord integrations and webhooks, and it occurred to me that embeds at the squadron level may not be possible... but my knowledge is limited.
Also, could we get a search/filter feature for the threads? I am probably the 10,000th person to ask this so I apologize for asking again if you have answered this many times.
Discord iframe - no, mostly for practical reasons. When it will be embedded and user will continue to browse Inara, it won't end well. That's why it's opened in a new tab (or right in the Discord client, when running/installed). It also provides more space for the whole widget...
Yes, that google stuff (spreadsheets at the moment, more is on the list) can be also embedded into sticky posts (basically anywhere where are BBcode tags allowed).
Search in threads maybe, I still didn't took a look on that yet.

Update: I am now unable to add any ship to my fleet.
I get an Error: Ship was not purchased.
What is happening?

The update has added a number of orbiting installations to most occupied systems. The normal methods of updating using the Api do not seem to be picking these up. I note that they are not being included on EDDB either.
We could manually input them to Inara but there is no ‘type’ to cover this in the dropdown list for Station Type. Most are aligned to a faction but some are flagged as Anarchy, again there is no selection for this in the appropriate down down list.
Could adjustments be made to the editing pages to allow us to add these installations?

Seems the data for my PP faction allegiance info has vanished from my pilots license. It now shows as 'independent', despite my not having abandoned the PP faction I'm pledged to Could have sworn there was a place to edit that, but now I can't find it.
Is there some sort of work being done in the background that would explain this, or is it a bug of some sort?
I'm using EDDiscovery to sync with Inara at present, and I know the Fdev API is borked, could that be what's causing it?

UrsherakSorry, tried the C:/Users/YourName/Saved Games/Frontier Developments/Elite Dangerous/ and yes I put Ursherak in for user name and still did not find logs on my PC. Any thing else I can do?

Is Ursherak definitely the name you have on Windows? Bolasie sure isn't mine! It should be your PCs name, not your Frontier or Elite one. You can check it under 'Accounts' and 'Your Info' in setting. I am sure you know that but just in case. Failing that, try searching for 'journal' on the whole drive and go make yourself a cuppa while you wait.

Yes, I would like to add installations/etc. there and also do some changes to avoid mixing with regular stations and increased lists cluttering. It's one of the priorities at the moment, so I will put it there as soon as possible.

Honestly, no idea, there may be multiple reasons. If your PP allegiance was suddenly changed, it means there was an event for a change received through Inara API, but I don't know what caused it. I recommend to check the journal if isn't something there (for a session when it were changed) and contact EDDiscovery authors otherwise...

Well, you can try to find the folder then. Search for files: Journal.*.log (where an asterisk is a wildcard), what it will found for you.

Assuming English language paste this into a File Explorer location bar: %USERPROFILE%\Saved Games\Frontier Developments\Elite Dangerous\
The 'Saved 'Games' bit might be localised if Windows isn't set to English. In which case just put %USERPROFILE% in and then navigate through using whatever the 'native' language version of "Saved Games" is. Why Microsoft don't have %SAVEDGAMES% as a variable in this context I don't know.

No, I think they've advanced, too. That's the only pic I've seen so far, though. There's a discord somewhere that's coordinating the grind and used for tracking everybody's engineering iterations that go into it. I'll post again if I find more info.
