Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

Federal Rank is now showing correctly but Imperial rank is now showing same value as Federal.
If do you mean the graphics, that's the intended behavior, it's just a static image same as before. I may turn that into the individual images for each rank grade later, probably when (and if) Frontier will do something with Navy careers as hinted few times.
XxFanaticLeexXI'm currently exploring in the NGC 225 SECTOR but I'm unable to search using any of the systems in this region on the site, doesn't recognise the system names.
This is the systems I tried using for my search :- Ngc 225 sector kn-s b4-2 and NGC 225 SECTOR jn-s b4-1 I would appreciate any help you can offer in this matter.
That's quite possible, Inara isn't storing all the systems as it will just lead to database size problems over time. There are usually stored systems within certain distances from inhabited systems, systems with stations and so on...

I noticed my current location isn't updated. Could this be the reason? At the moment I'm about 12k LY away from Sol.

Alyria StormborneArtie, looks like the Imperial Navy and Federal Navy have the rank emblems swapped on the new Rankings page.
Images are still swapped for my ranks on the overview page and the /cmdr-ranks/ page but are correct for reputation on overview page..
The Imperial Navy rank has an image of the Federal solar system and the Federal Navy rank has an image of the Imperial bird.
I have a screenshot but don't know how to put it in here while using a phone.
Thanks for the great work you have done on this site! Inara makes Elite a lot more fun on a console.

It's something I would like to do. However, I would like to provide also some simple award designer (medal background, motif, other decorations) so there should be more combinations possible than a few predefined awards. No ETA, but it's on the list...

Lacarus76I have the graphics errors in VR when running the VSS scanner. When I zoome on a planet sometimes the background image is consumed and when I zoom out again it knows. But all descriptions that belong to the scanner I can read normally. The border of the scanner is clearly legible. Only the scanner itself does not work properly. Does anyone have the problem? It's a pity, I like to play the game in VR. I have an Oculus Rift and before the last update (patch) I had no problems.
My VR glasses are perfectly fine. It's not her fault.
(I'm sorry if I have many mistakes in the description. My English is really bad. I use the tanslator.)

I had this problem reported recently - as it turned out, it was an issue of some browser plugin (adblocker) removing the button from the page. Is it your case as well? If yes, please make an exception for Inara there and tell me which ad blocker it is exactly, so I can test the problem, too.

ArtieDj Lightoff: Force reload the page on the overview or ranks page, please (Ctrl+F5 on desktops, not sure about the equivalent on your phone). Another option is simply to clear the browser cache. It should load the correct pictures.

Great start and to see your still motivated after all those years.
With the new leader boards squadron rewards 1st 2nd and 3d placed badges could be easy enough to do. even though you have to add it manualy

ArtieAn update for the Import Journal Data feature - there are automatic weekly updates now. Respectively, auto-updates made each 7 days after your last update performed (this interval may be further adjusted to be more frequent in the future). The only conditions are that the Import was made at least once, you are still active on Inara (browsing the site logged in at least once in the past 30 days) and there were no errors met (like when the Frontier link/permission was revoked and similar). This can be especially helpful to PC users using InaraAPI otherwise, as you can do the import just once and then stop to care and Inara will fetch the data for the awards and rankings for you automatically. Or for lazy people like me that doesn't need to have their data up-to-date immediately.
Awesome! I was going to suggest a feature for that sometime in the near future when I became less lazy.
