Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

Firstly, it seems like there isn't an option to specify max pad size - and it can be quite useful to be able to narrow down a search to small or medium pads only, for things like searching for specific settlements.
Secondly, it's be great if there was a way of filtering the specific kind of settlement (ie. military, tourist, et cetera ad nauseum). I think it's currently tracked as 'State', but there's no way to filter it that I can find, so that'd be nice to have too.
Thirdly, and perhaps this is a moonshot, but is the specific settlement layout specified in the journal files and/or the information that Inara receives from EDMC, EDDiscovery, EDDN and other sources? The settlement types are outlined on this website, and if it was possible to filter by specific types, that'd be absolutely fantastic.
As always, if I've missed anything that's already implemented, I'd love to be told how to access it.

Happy DazeHello, I don't fight interdictions from NPCs. I submit and either jump away or kill the pirate.
My Combat Log shows the interdictions but not the kills.
I also killed a NPC pirate attacking me after I scanned a Megaship for a Mission. That kill isn't showing in the Combat log either.
In fact, the Combat log shows the last ship I destroyed was back in 2020.
Is this correct behavior?
Hello, yes, that's correct - the kills of NPCs are not logged as there are many (only deaths caused by NPCs).
debdrupSearching for various stations is quite useful, but there's a few things I've noticed which I think are lacking:

Also why the search lists them alphabetically, this one, 'Station : Generation Ship Odysseus | Ross 859', is for some unknown reason, 1st in the list.

Does it just take time for places to upload to inara?

Hello, yes, I am not storing an entire galaxy for practical reasons (there is not much point to store star systems somebody flew through years ago and nobody visited them since), so some star systems may not be present in the database. But as you noticed, in case you import your data, it should use your actual location regardless the star system (I am simply using the known coordinates instead). But if that won't work for whatever reasons, you can pick something closer to the Bubble/Colonia or any notable star system as a reference point.

Hello, the Lazarus is there, it just have different name format than "Generation ship XYZ" in the game. The search results are sorted by distance by default as people typically are looking for things nearby, but you can resort the results alphabetically by clicking the column header, if you wish so.
Edit: Ah, wait, you are talking about the general search results and not the "search nearest" results. Then yes, the Odysseus first is a little bit odd, I will check what is going on with it.
Edit 2: ... and it's because the Odysseus has an extra space in the name and thus it will get first. Somebody in Frontier made a typo and it's "Generation ship[space][space]Odysseus".

MearmortalThanks for that. The search was in the general area with name 'Generation' but still didn't pick up Lazarus, is the wording wrong somewhere too for that?
It's named "Lazarus Expedition", that's why it isn't found while searching for "generation". The general search look for the names, but you can utilize Nearest search for finding more specific stuff like that (set the "Station type" as "Generation ship" there), regardless their names.
K3rnal SandersIs it just me or did they break Jameson memorial in the last update. I have FSD booster unlocked but can't buy them. They do not show in the available optional modules list. Does anyone else have this problem? What should I do? It seems that submitting reports and tickets does no good and I've already tried twitter(ehrm excuse me X. LOL)
No idea, I will move the post to another thread, maybe somebody else have a similar problem.

At the moment, the above URL only has a search feature if you know the minor faction you're looking for. I was wondering if this page could be developed to utilize some features, such as Superpower, Power, Government Type, Home System, Player (Related) Faction, Total Faction Population, etc?
I'm aware of the "Search Nearest" with Minor Factions, but I'd like to see a comprehensive list available with parameters if possible. Thanks!

It's currently not possible. What is a goal of such search? As there is no longer possible to make an application for PMF, is there some other reason for that?

I'd like to have a list of every Player (or Related) minor factions of each power. This was a feature on EDDB until the site went down.
