Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.
Please vote for the issue on the official bug tracker: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/21258
Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

Silver TafferArne S. SaknussemmHi Artie,
I have a request for the crafting list/missing component and I hope to be able to explain it without being too complicated.
I was thinking something like a way to filter the crafting blueprints so that the missing component list shows only the item needed for the selected blueprints.
I mean: I can put ten different mods I'd like to achieve, let's say 5 for 2 ships each. I would like to select only the five for the first ship to know what I'm missing without having the total list of missing components for both ships.
I hope to have been able to explain my idea. It should be easy: an icon to mark the BP you want to list the components and a filter in the overall missing component list based on the marked BP.
Let me know if this could be interesting for the others CMDRs as well.
Cheers Bosmang!
This would be pretty useful 07

Grytr1000Hi
07
I hope this is the right place for a (minor) query. I am a PS4 ED player who uses INARA often; particularly for tracking engineering mats. I noticed a possible bug or I might just be being stupid .
When I compare:
CMDR-->Cargo and crafting-->Crafting lists-->Blueprints (28xProto Heat Radiators missing*) with CMDR-->Cargo and crafting-->Crafting lists-->Missing components-->Manufactured (7 items missing including 28xProto Heat Radiators*). What are the 6 extra manufactured items for?
Cmdr Grytr1000
* at the time of writing
It seems to be alright. Basically, the missing compotents show the missing material for all the blueprints (and all the rolls, etc.) in the crafting list whilst the blueprints listed in the crafting list shown the breakdown for the individual blueprint. So, for example, you may have enough material to craft any individual blueprint (so it's shown like no material is missing there), but you are not having enough material to craft ALL the blueprints. That's what is shown in the missing components.
DenispageInara is not showing the conflict zones anymore (under "systems and stations" section).
Does anyone know where can I find this information?
I usually use to find Federation vs Empire wars to see both megaships fighting.
Cheers.
Yes, as Episparth said, use this option, please. With some changes the conflict zones list (particularly with the numbers of commanders here) became performance-heavy, so I rid it off. It's the same list as in the "Nearest" otherwise.
RynakorMy profile is currently locked out that I cannot "Import Frontier Data"
I get a "DOWNLOAD FAILED" with the following errors:
Not possible to obtain user journals from cAPI. The Frontier's service is down or cAPI didn't return any relevant data, please try to repeat your request later.
[httpCode: 400, fetchCode: 0]
Error: There was not possible to update your commander data.
Probably an incorrect account was connected. If you are XBox/PS4 player, please use the respective platform. If you are having the game on Steam, please try to use the Frontier account instead, it may help.

Good idea, that may be useful. Added to my ToDo.
Willard T FoxxIn case no one has brought this to Admin Attention:
Void Opal Prices seem to be way way out of date for some reason. Not checked other commodities myself but something is fishy about Vopal Prices on the top sellers list that are 227 days out of date.
Thank You
Willard
Unfortunately, nothing I can affect. The prices are as they are (it came in that way). Due the recent changes in the game, there is entirely possible that two different players sitting at the same station at the exactly same moment will report very different prices, depending on their cargo. So the prices reliability from some high-profit commodities like LTD, VO, painite, etc. may be very wonky currently, at least unless Frontier will adjust this mechanics (if they will do that at all).
UltraNerosBug:
When formatting a squadron description, using dimensions on an image just puts the text in the description. It shows in the non-view source, but does not show in the preview below editing.
Thanks
Not a bug, there is no width property for the img tag here.
SuperFixxxeRHey Artie
In your /galaxy-techbroker/ page I can see how many of each component / material I own, which is great (thanks) but wondering if we can make this include the max number a CMDR can hold - e.g 187/300
May not be possible but would be handy.
Well, I can add it there, but won't it be a little bit confusing with all the numbers there, as there is no particular reason why to list the max. number for the tech broker?

I'm materials focused at the moment, farming them basically. In-game you can check the max number of each mat you can hold, and how much of those mats you have - the /galaxy-techbroker/ screen shows me how many of each material I have but not the cap for each- and I think it would be beneficial to be able to see where you're up to with each mat.
Just an idea, I can use a different tool I suppose but I'm actually struggling to find one that shows max number of each material.

The material caps are here (a tooltip over the progress bar) here, if that helps?

SuperFixxxeRThanks, I have this, cap is represented by a bar... UI no where near as clean as INARA but it'll do I suppose.
Thumb rule is:
Very common (Grade 1): 300
Common (Grade 2): 250
Standard (Grade 3): 200
Rare (Grade 4): 150
Very rare (Grade 5): 100

I use other sites to track this but it sure would be handy if it was just shown here.

Inara and also EDSM not synchronized properly anymore with ED.
Went well until the end of December.
Does anyone know a solution for this .
Frontier says they can't help me,
Thanks Gerrit

Are you getting any errors? you might try to re-do the API key...

Not sure if this the right place to ask, but can anyone tell me what the "station notes" are? It's a section under your commander's "Quick notes", but i have found no way to add notes to stations or to anything else...

As mentioned by others, just follow the instructions in the update window. Most likely, Frontier require a re-authentication so you should be able to solve it with a few clicks. No idea about EDSM, though.
Whiplash 1983Any "tick" event timer display in the works?
I use other sites to track this but it sure would be handy if it was just shown here.
No dedicated system for the tick detection is planned at the moment.
Lambast MercyI'd still like to see "Bon Vivant" as an option in the Preferred Role heading, please.Whiplash 1983Any "tick" event timer display in the works?

I think it's rather an "attitude" or a type of behavior than a role?

Hello,
it's an obsolete feature which will be removed (as almost nobody was using it). Just ignore it.
