Commanders having Elite from Epic games store with http 400 error
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.
Please vote for the issue on the official bug tracker: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/21258

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.

Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

I have four accounts all on Xbox.

Serenity03
Serenity03a
dthallen01
ShadeOutman

I am trying to link them all to Inara. Only my first account that I created (Serenity03) has linked properly. All the others link to Serenity03 when I try linking them. hence I cant import data for those accounts. Why?

Hello,
I suppose you will get auto-logged on the XBox Live site to the previous account and thus this account is also used for pairing. It's outside my control. I recommend to log out on the XBL site first and then try to connect the respective account.

Hay

I'd like to know what NPC pilots are employed and what fighters are installed in the hangers.

Me too. But since it won't show in-game I doubt there is anything Artie can do either.

Oh well, never mind.

Hey Artie, unfortunately it seems the time has come for the report user feature. Got a spam message from https://inara.cz/cmdr/195781/, a clear attempt to get people onto a malicious web site.

I have the same issue with https://inara.cz/cmdr/195853/

It seems like a couple of bots found the site :/

Hello,
thank you for the reports. A few spambots joined Inara today, indeed. Those should be have been banned, their messages removed and I have applied a measure (reCaptcha v3) that will hopefully prevent them to join the site in the future. My apologies for such unfortunate and obtrusive event.

Also, I have removed a few of your reports made into PMs during the cleanup by accident, thank you for the reports there, too!

How do you determine that they are bots? I had no idea this can occur.

They were all using just a few IPs, all were using similar names and e-mails and all were spamming PMs with quite similar texts in English and Spanish language. It was not hard to find them all. I had a very simple measure to prevent their registrations on the site and despite its simplicity it was working flawlessly until today. So I have implemented the reCaptcha instead and hopefully it will be enough for many following years.

Thanks for the info Artie. Hopefully since you had dropped the hammer, no Inara member won't see anything. But I'll still keep and eye out and report it just in case. o7

Thanks!
Yes, all the problematic messages were removed.

As Whiplash mentioned, there is unfortunately no information what fighters are loaded into fighter bays in the ship Loadout events. There are some information for the NPC crew (when used/activated, hired, etc.), but the crew in the current state feels quite underdeveloped in the game, so I have spent no resources to make something around them in Inara. But it will very likely change if there will be more functionality around them.

Is it practical to have additional permission settings on the Private Discussions sections of squadrons, to enable either allies or supporters to see them? The existing permissions are already extremely useful, but we are using the PDs to arrange general community events, and some of those wishing to participate are allied and supporting, but not full members of the squadron.

On a semi-related note, is it possible to have a sticky-only post show on the Overview, as these do not currently show up anywhere unless specifically going to look.

I do sympathise with your dilemma. Even in game I can't tell from the inventory what is loaded into which fighter-hanger.

Is the hanger with the Condor the first one or the second one down the list. Let's see I just stored out the one with the javelin so that would be the last one or the one on the bottom, or is it the top. Cripes I'll just have to load it again and see ... . . . .. nope, that's still the javelin... must be the other one. but which one is now the other one. (pulls more hair out)
