Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.
Please vote for the issue on the official bug tracker: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/21258
Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

ArtieI am not sure about the tags, as logbooks are usually personal or roleplay, I have no idea what tags there should be. Any proposals?
I was mainly thinking the same tags as used for Galnet "Empire, Imperial Navy, Crime, Archon Delaine" etc. That way if a log is about something specific, say I had just aligned with the Federation, or I just brought a Core Dynamics ship, then the tag could then find other relevant information from Galnet or other CMDR's logs. Of course the tags would be totally optional so they don't have to be used if it isn't needed or wanted!
Just my ping-pong brain in action

Evgeny ZiAnd feature of commenting logbook entries. Anyway they are visible and social, so why not?
I like the idea (along with commenting on pictures) although I think it is something that needs to be optional and in the settings of the CMDR to have or not on their logs. Some, like me, stay in character and write from that perspective. Others write as a player of the game. It could be a bit odd if say you had written a post as the character in universe, then comments were talking as if it were a game (or vies-versa).

And yes, feature to enable/disable commenting under your log/pic would be awesome to have a choice.

One quick suggestion, any way we can add an ID pic to the CMDR Log Page?
Keep up the good work

About comments for logbooks/pictures - it will be probably there with some enhanced news timeline, similar to FB. But currently not a priority, so there will be other stuff first.
Stryka: Profile pictures will be there soon. Maybe in next update, but no promises yet...

ArtieLase: Well, these are generated automatically based on keywords. I am little bit afraid it will be a mess for logbooks, but it can be tested and we will see.
Does the system keep a note of the tags? Just thinking if it were in a list/DB that could be displayed at the bottom of the log and the CMDR can pick the most relevant ones?
Like I say, just a thought

If I write the content in the History section as it is now then the scroll length will be very long which takes away from the readability of the page.

Veyder: Hmmm... I can create another field there and separate "History" and "Lore" there. I also wanted to create a sub-menus for quick jumps to Squadron history there (and eventually additional for the history and lore mentioned), so it may work well for that case?

I am not sure you need to separate History and Lore, I think you have done a fine job with the section besides History and Lore are close enough that they can be in the same section.
However having a single endless page to display the story takes away from the readability of the text in my honest opinion. At a minimum there should be section breaks if not pages for the story; especially considering as time passes stories will be expanded.
