Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

RisingDeathWhat is the difference between white and orange colored locations in the commander's flight log?
Looking at mine, white appears to be dead links, so systems with no page behind them (like a red text link on a wiki page) so I'm guessing INARA has no further information on the white page systems, whereas orange pages do.
Just a guess, Artie to clarify, but hope that helps.

Slightly above as I asked, the creator doesn't want to include EVERYTHING so all systems that are not in the database appear white.

May I ask you for small feature, just add in all tables where system name is a small clipboard icon to quick copy name to the buffer and use for in game Galaxy map. It safe a lot of time for me and avoid false clicks when you trying select system name from the link.

Allowing for the first discovered/mapped not being accurate until you hand them in, and probably some false positives in the logs. It still might be a useful Inara feature to be able to see your possible discoveries, and first mapped?

e.g. i have 3 groups:
- Located in the bubble
- Located in colonia
- Just bought for later usage, or transfer to colonia because not available in colonia.
It would make it easier to find them if there i could just put them in a kind of group or category or what ever.

I like to write lore about my ships and would like this to be public but currently I don’t think there is an option to hide module/engineering load out and ship bio separately. Maybe there is and I’m not looking hard enough?
That's not a bad idea, although it complicates things a bit. I will put that to my todo, but no promises.

Inara would be the best source for this information.
Would it be possible to add this information to an API? I would only need a rough number of the traffic.

Hello, there is currently no export of the traffic reports in the Inara API and I am not sure if I want to provide it there. It's highly speculative number and may be wildly off the actual traffic in the given system (not even rough, but truly very different). I also want to avoid cases that somebody will misuse that to get the regular traffic reports for the entire galaxy, for example, and cause a heavy load on the API.
Don SamenHi, just discovered that Inara Ranks is not counting up when hauling goods. Is this a known bug?
And this site is just a fantastic tool, such a great work!
As Aunty mentioned, there may be some delay in the logs (Statistics event) sometimes. Nothing I can affect, but it should catch up later.

I was thinking about that earlier, but it seemed there is not so much interest in Patreon/regular donations? So it seems it doesn't worth an effort, as Paypal is more widely spread?

100.RUBHey Artie, it seems that "Recent Battle Reports" list is not sortable in the galaxy wars section. Same for "Commanders in the Flight" lists for individual systems.
Added for the recent battle reports, the other one is more complicated and may be later.

Yeah, I have that on the list and want to do it more generally, without adding such visible icons everywhere (probably in some tooltip). Currently, there is the clipboard copy on the individual star system pages at least.
KissamiesI system view, where you see the system's Minor Factions, it would be helpful to us BGS nuts to somehow mark the non-native factions in the list. Usually it's pretty easy to determine it by their names, but this feature would still be useful. It would show what is possible to try to retreat and where the invasion is likely to go.

Cal-LHaving taken an indirect trip out to Colonia, Sagittarius A* and back again. I was less than thorough on keeping track of my discoveries and first mapped. However I was able to write something to go over my journal logs and pull out system, body, discovered and mapped data.

I have currently no immediate plans for that, but you may want to take a look on EDSM.net as it does great job in all exploration and galaxy mapping stuff.

Hmmm, that may be useful. I will add that to my list, but no ETA. Meanwhile, you can sort your ships in the fleet manually, if that will help with the orientation.

Xeno Archaeology is a branch of the field worth adding too, though human artifacts are of interest to me... especially lost colonies etc.
History (specifically Comparative Mythology) is my field of study irl. and I've been playing this character as an archeologist/pilot across many games for years.
