Commanders having Elite from Epic games store with http 400 error
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.

Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

Hi - just wondering if your web servers perform rate limiting from specific sources? The site has been very slow for the past couple of weeks and the common factor appears to be everyone who's experiencing it is using the same UK ISP.

I should add, the part taking the time appears to be the response.

It works fine for me, allthough, every night at around 01:00 (GMT +1) savana.cz seems to be down for a while. Reproduced on almost every day last week.

Yeah it does that every day. I'm assuming for backups for some such background process, putting in fresh hamsters.

Not that it matter a lot, just my log entries do not seem to go public anymore, for two, three days maybe ?
No idea if i did something to my settings doing that.

Ok, here's one from the back burners. Gotta be others that will head up on this too.

Some way for pilots of any rank to tick some sort of notice on a faction site page indicating a vote, or a check, or an "X" on some sort of table or grid that could be used to inform other faction members of a task completed from a list, or an anonymous vote for a person place or thing, in a page post that can be designed, set and cleared by officers.

Thoughts?

A poll function is fairly standard in blog software, I would have thought it could be added in this post function.

Missions fulfil the single task objective, with commanders able to tick off that they have done it.

I've looked for but not seen an example of a polling feature function. I'm no big talent with b-board coding.
Just hoping someone can point to an example that works here. Boards have different capabilities it seems.

I'd hazard a guess that this site uses SCEditor, but can't see what underlying software it's managing messages on. Could well be all Artie's creation. myBB, phpBB and the like can provide polling addons, but if it's not an off the shelf product we can't expect easy soluitions.

Sorry Artie, this is getting a little off topic, I just enjoy peaking under the bonnet and seeing what's in there.

Two things.. First, does this actually work? And second, how does one go about doing this?

Getting the 500 error 100% of the time at 1415 GMT on a Thursday...

Hello guys, just a quick note (I will respond the rest individually later, as I am pretty busy now):
As mentioned in the sticky post here, the http 401/500 (and possibly also other) errors being returned while trying to connect your account to Frontier is something that Frontier must solve. They are aware of the problem and are working on the solution. So for now, we must just wait until it will gets resolved. As far as I know, there is no universal and reliable workaround. Patience you must have my young padawans.
