Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

It'd be nice if you could make it so each post has a permalink we can copy and link to in other posts if needed. Just something simple like http://inara.cz/board?page=[pagenum]#[postnum]. The post time could be the holder for the permalink of the posts.

I use it mostly on my iPad and it would be a great touch if you were to configure the numeric input fields to default to the numeric keyboard by using
<input type="text" pattern="[0-9]*"></input>.I sourced that from Apple's docs

XxPaRaN01AxXI have no idea how hard it would be but would it be possible to get this site as an app? I think it would be cool but only if it's not a ridiculous amount of work
A more mobile friendly version of the website is planned. Making a separate mobile app would be a bit too much in my eyes

It's a really good site and I love the generated signature.
I've just try to insert a profile picture.
Is it possible to remove a picture from the profile ?
And is it possible to manage the transparency of PNG file ?

It's not possible, as there is expected that when profile image uploaded it is something that commander likes to do. But, you can exchange it even for empty black image, for example. There is no transparency allowed in profile images by purpose, as cause visual problems usually by using it in signature and various site parts.
Scotsman USHi, Great site !! But I need some help on the Credit/Asset page. I can enter all my Credit totals and I know when and how much I paid for a ship etc, but should the Total Assets be just the cumulative value of my ships or should I add in the Credit totals also to the Total Assets ?? I have tried both ways and the data at the side of the page (24hr, 7 day summary etc etc is all wrong ! Can you look at my page and see what I am doing wrong ?
Hello, there are two options:
1] you can use Current assets information displayed in the game, right panel in the statistics section (where is all the stuff like number of systems scanned, bounties gained, etc.). It shows (after game update 1.4) your overall wealth including all ships value.
2] this option is "harder" to setup but brings benefits in long-term: You can set value of each ship you have here on Inara (in fleet edit, you will just enter ship rebuy cost here) and then you just need to enter your actual credit balance in Credits/Assets. It will calculate overall assets by your fleet value + credit balance entered (and it should be then same as the in-game value for current assets as mentioned in option 1)

If you have entered what ships you own and you have copied/pasted in your loadouts for said ships (from coriolis.io or eliteshipyard, etc.), then by entering your current credit balance (just the credits you have laying around) it will automatically calculate your assets. Assets are simply your credit balance + the money put into everything you own (ships/modules).
