Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.
Please vote for the issue on the official bug tracker: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/21258
Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

I've been using the market feature for my trading as it is incredibly helpful. However, I noticed two things:
- There's no column to tell the current stock. This may lead me into a surprise finding a very small stock that is not enough to fill up the ship.
- I couldn't find a way to change the minimum commodity price to below 1000 cr. For example, polymers which can be bought for like 100 CR may be sold at a 5000+ CR profit during investment states, but they won't show up on the import list at all due to the low purchase price.

GhostEffectYou guys need to make a mobile version of this. Its hard to use this on a phone and not everyone has a computer. o7 cmdr GhostEffect
Yep, it's something I would like to do at some point (a more lightweight site version tailored for mobile devices, not the app), but as it's very time consuming work it won't probably happen anytime soon.
Joshua MacerGreetings,
I absolutely love this site, it is invaluable. I am curious about one thing,
I noticed my assets seemed to be way off from cursory inspection. This does
Not include the fleet carrier. On closer inspection many of my ships and modules
Are showing a value of 0cr. Is there currently a fix for this?
Thanks
This was responded over Discord, but just for the future reference if anybody interested - opening the shipyard in the game should fill the ship basic values in. For the ship modules there is needed to hop into the respective ship(s), to get the full loadout in the journal files.
DanierosHello.

Hello, there is a collumn for the current stock? If it's not displayed for you, please send me a screenshot. There is currently just a minor issue (which will be fixed this weekend) that the 0 supply/demand was displayed as an empty cell (instead of 0).
I will take a look on that minimal price. The limit was there primarily for the performance reasons (looking for the best prices around isn't exactly a cheap operation), but I think that with the recent optimizations I made it can be removed.

For the selected market supply/demand itself, it does show correctly. The export from and import to tables which aren't currently showing supply/demand, I've attached a screenshot. In this case, if I open up the 4057 cr Hodgson Point and 3919 cr Rangarajan Mine import suggestions, I am able to check their stocks are currently 406 and 428, which is a bit too low to justify the trip depending on your cargo hold. I can see the case happening in which too many of these low-stock offers could take up the whole table.
Regarding minimum commodity price, I can definitely see it getting pretty resource intensive. I never imagined a ~100 cr commodity like Polymers could get to a 5000+ cr profit surpassing even tritium/palladium. I am still catching up on a few years of patches, but I'm guessing this has to do with the investment state? Doing an inara check on the commodity itself I can see it getting to even crazier 9000+ prices if there are multiple states going on. I am not knowledgeable enough to know if this can happen to every low price commodity to suggest some efficient filtering, but perhaps at the very least it could be optimized to only do this check if the selected market is under an investment state.

Yep, with some favorable faction states, there can be nice profits found even for commodities like grain or fruits and vegetables (10k+ per unit), which wasn't happening very often before.

Just wanted to report there is a Planetary Settlement missing in this System.
6 are listed but No.7 is nowhere to be found.
And since I won't be able to add it manually (didn't find any button at least) maybe you could?

It would be great to be able to add Thumbs Up / Smiley Faces / Upvotes to posts. Best not to have downvotes or negatives, IMHO.
Just my 2 cents!

Thanks for the information - yes, no manual station adding is possible, as I want to have as much reliable data as possible and those are added on various journal events (like SettlementApproach). I will add it there shortly.
Happy DazeNot sure if this has been requested or not... prolly has, but here goes anyway:

Yeah, it has been requested sometimes, but I do not want to add it there for various reasons. Even the positive motivation (just upvotes, no downvotes) can turn into unwanted competition and may demotivate posters. For example, some more popular person's post may get more votes than more quality post of another poster, which will inevitably lead to questions like: "What I wrote wrong? I've put more effort into my contribution and it's a better post! Why people like it less than the other post? Inara community sucks!"

- The Market page was adjusted - routes may now show more profitable destinations for low priced commodities on longer distances (the commodity price limit was removed) and it also filters out very low supply/demands. You can further adjust your minimal required supply/demand levels in the settings. The routes also provide a little bit more detailed tooltip with some extra details.
- There was made a cleanup of previously manually entered stations and installations, which seemed to be wrong (incorrect names, typos, etc.) and there was established an auto-pruning of fleet carriers which weren't updated or seen for a long time (~2 months). If it removed your fleet carrier... well, make it seen or update it at least once a month next time.

JUST in case you have some more time to spare, would you consider adding a "filter" button to exclude outposts or surface ports from the Market routes? Like what is there for Commodity prices, to omit carriers and outposts? Depending on what ship I'm flying, I may want to either avoid, or focus on, outposts due to landing pad size restrictions.
16 Aug 2020, 3:56pm
You can limit the stations displayed by the pad size and also exclude the planetary station at the moment, but - yeah, it may be good to extend it a little bit in the future, to provide more flexibility.

Arsen CrossArtieArsen CrossI noticed that the same logo being used for the squadron home page is being used for the minor faction. This is awesome however the size/use case differences are unfortunate.
While I do have a square logo only for my Squadron I use the full size logo for the squadron page. It'd be nice to see a separate logo upload for use on the minor faction page so it doesn't look all chopped up as seen in the link below to CROSS Corp faction.
Please add some extra blank space to the logo sides. It will have no effect on the squadron page but shrinks the logo on the minor faction page. It's working workaround until some more clean solution.
Awesome, will do! Thank you.
Hey Artie, I finally got around to doing this. I made the image exactly square (500x500), original upload was 500x150 as per requirement. However when I tried to upload the square version of the image it failed telling me the image was too large.

I see, in this case nothing more can be done (it's about the horizontal image size, the vertical doesn't play the role). Of course, it can be solved by downscaling the logo within the given image size, but that's not very good solution as it will look odd on the main squadron page. So until some solution on my end that's the best possible result at the moment.
James HussarHey Artie, does Inara have a means of keeping track what you've stashed in your carrier? Not what's "for sale (if you don't have the market running) " but just what you've stored?
Yes, on the imports through the Import Frontier data there is also a whole cargo listed on your carrier details page.

ArtieJust relatively minor update, but useful stuff:

You can further adjust your minimal required supply/demand levels in the settings. The routes also provide a little bit more detailed tooltip with some extra details.
So nice to see that implemented so quickly! Currently, it seems to be bugged on lower price commodities. It's still not considering polymers as a viable trade (example: https://inara.cz/market/8004/40423/ ).
