Commanders having Elite from Epic games store with http 400 error
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.
Please vote for the issue on the official bug tracker: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/21258

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.

Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

Hi cmdrs is there a way to view my cartographics while I am scanning unexplored systems?

https://github.com/EDDiscovery/EDDiscovery/wiki

ED Discovery has a scan tab function which will display details about the systems you are currently in while scanning.

ArtieThere is another bunch of new stuff added on Inara, revolving primarily around fleet carriers.
  • Cargo, market, shipyard and outfitting listings added to your fleet carrier details page. Fixed a minor bug with shipyard/outfitting not being updated properly with the direct imports.
  • Added extra details for fleet carrier owners on their carrier's detail page like travel history, passengers and stored ships/modules. Please note that the passengers list displays just commanders staying on the carrier for while (15-30 minutes at least), so it won't display commanders just doing their business there and moving elsewhere shortly. Also, this list is based on Inara commanders only, so it may not be complete.
  • Added an option to decomission your carrier, if you have decomissioned it in the game already.
  • Market listing added (where present) to the station detail pages.
  • The score in rankings was multiplied by five. No formula change was made, it's just a visual improvement, so you will better see your score progression (as the score floating number is being rounded on the output, higher score range will allow to see the score changes more often).
  • Various other minor improvements and fixes.

Really good, thankyou! The ‘passengers’ part is really interesting, even if just Inara members.

Another cracking update, thankyou again!

Hello. You show Gurney Orbital in Zemetii has having Carrier Admin and vendor. I'm there now and don't see it. In trying to find out why I see that EDDB lists a Gurney orbital in Coriccha as also having these services. While I have not been there to confirm, it seems that there is some confusion as to which Gurney orbital has these services. I will say that that it was not very wise to have very rare services at a station that shares its name with other stations in different systems

Thanks

Hello, the stations are primarily identified by their marketIDs, so the same name doesn't matter.
In any case, the latest update I see for this station from the journals tells there is the carrier administration present (but no carrier vendor) and it's displayed that way on Inara, too. What exactly is shown in the game on the system map and in the station?

1st post here, so please forgive if it's not in the correct place....

I'm trying to add an image to my logbook/diary here on INARA and the image never shows.  I copy the URL from my gallery URL....but nothing.

Is there a secret or a how to somewhere?

Thanks

EDIT: never mind...I figured it out.

I just checked again, and I was under the assumption that there should be a carrier admin authority listed in the station contacts, but I didn't see one there. I just tried going in my carrier admin page, and I see that I am able to add the services now, so I guess it is correct, if only slightly confusing (for someone like me who has not tried to change carrier services since I purchased it).

So all good

thanks

I have a question about FC markets. I have buy order for Thargoid items (e.g. Thargoid Heart) but those are not shown on Inara market for my FC. Is there some known limitation with showing different types of commodities? Tritium and Meta-Alloy orders show OK. My FC market: https://inara.cz/market/26912/210561/

Otherwise the FC content on this platform is very good.

Honestly, I don't know. Your FC data from cAPI does show Tritium and Meta-alloys, but no Hearts. I am starting to think that some commodities may not be listed in the data (at least on PS4) or there is something else happening, but it's certainly a bug or an information delay on Frontier's side. Just to check - did you list all the commodities at the same moment? Or the first two were listed for a while and Thargoid hearts were added later?

Actually I just read some info on FCMS guide on their discord that might explain the cause for this issue:
There's also the option to show the items the carrier is buying or selling on the market page, which can be hidden by the owner. Due to limitations with FDev's cAPI, you won't see all items. Thargoid commodities are among these items.

And for your question I created buy orders for Meta-alloys, Tritium and every type of Thargoid item on same session and then I requested update on Inara.

I was looking for a tool that would let you plan an optimized route to visit engineers that you pick based on your current location. Sort of an Engineer run planner. Maybe this is a feature that Inara could add in the future, or would that be more of a feature for eddb or such? Artie, what do you think?

You can use ED Pathfinder to plan optimised routes. But yeah, having that in Inara would be cool.
