Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.
Please vote for the issue on the official bug tracker: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/21258
Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

BL1PHi, would it be possible to have Items that you can buy from a fleet carrier be marked as stolen if they are ?
When trying to get certain Legal Salvage items, it would help very much, if you knew if the seller was selling Legal or stolen goods you wanted.
Thanks
Wouldn't a carrier need to have the secure market service in the first place to even be able to sell stolen goods? (Haven't experimented with it yet, so that's just my conjecture)
Then you could use that as at least an indicator for that.

Unfortunately, not at the moment due technical limitations. There is even a bug in Frontier's cAPI fleet carrier endpoint with a black market on the FC installed it stops to provide the regular market data (and provides black market data instead, but none of the commodities there seems to be marked as stolen). I think the black market data isn't provided in the PC local files, too (if I recall correctly). So until Frontier sorts this out, it's not possible.

Ok thanks for the reply.

Example pressing update on EDMC while in the squadron allegiance window sends all the systems listed info.
If not is there a way to request cAPI additions ?
Its quite a pain to fly to each system to get inara to show the updates that you see in that window, specially if you have many system.

It's a shame, but it's not technically possible as well - the journal contains the relevant star system/minor factions data just when the player is in there and there is no event written (or data dump stored) for the squadron factions overview window or any other method how to get multiple star systems data at once from there. Similar it's with the cAPI endpoints, it's related just to the current player's location.

Once again thank you for your reply, and thank you very much for all your hard work on this fantastic site !
Its very much appreciated !

Running EDDLite 1.1.0, seemingly properly linked to the Inara API.

Haeres CorviI just noticed that the progress towards The Trader badge on my commander page hadn't increase despite my working on a trade routine this week. I wonder if I did something wrong with EDDI or something else. I did notice some strange quirks like credits value failing to update after redeeming two wing missions (solved itself the next day when I logged in), but I didn't think much of it until now.

Please use the Import Frontier data feature to update your data. The stats needs to be verified, so it doesn't update through the API (more precisely, it does update, but is not set as a verified information). You can then just leave the auto-updates on and use EDDLite as usually (so it will update/validate your stats on daily basis aside of your updates through API).

Ah, it was an error with the frontier data import I hadn't noticed, that also explains why the credits weren't updating at the usual time. Thanks!

DescartesAh, thankyou. It's worked. As usual, I need more space somewhere or other -- what do I sacrifice to make room. But that's a rhetorical question.limpets

When you look at what cargo you have on your carrier on Inara it lists the items, but splits them depending on cost or something.
This doesn't really matter as if you have for example 500 tritium and 100 tritium at a different cost they just get stored together on the FC and its not possible to pull out say the 100 lower cost ones.
I think it would be cleaner if Inara just placed them all together so for example it would be 600 tritium.
Or if we could have a button to "Do split by cost" and "Do not split by cost".
Also it would be nice for me as I have tritium listed 6 times

The Game log auto import - either from game (in my case via EDDI API) or from FDev - is missing INF rewards from the mission logs in some cases. I haven't pinned down a pattern, but in significant chunks.. my missions are correctly reported, but with INF rewards missing. This is a big deal during BGS activities.
Today - I dug through the last log file, and confirmed that the last mission entry was correct:
{ "timestamp":"2020-11-01T12:12:06Z", "event":"MissionCompleted", "Faction":"Verne Partners LLP", "Name":"Mission_Sightseeing_name", "MissionID":646371565, "Commodity":"$DomesticAppliances_Name;", "Commodity_Localised":"Domestic Appliances", "Count":1, "NewDestinationSystem":"Utgaroar", "DestinationSystem":"64 Piscium", "Reward":174335, "FactionEffects":[ { "Faction":"Verne Partners LLP", "Effects":[ { "Effect":"$MISSIONUTIL_Interaction_Summary_SP_up;", "Effect_Localised":"The security status of $#MinorFaction; has improved in the $#System; system.", "Trend":"UpGood" } ], "Influence":[ { "SystemAddress":1183364092626, "Trend":"UpGood", "Influence":"+++++" } ], "ReputationTrend":"UpGood", "Reputation":"+" } ] }
Key part highlighted..
..but in my personal mission log, and the faction overview - these were missing. I then uploaded the log file manually - and this was corrected.
Is there any difference in the way the manual upload and the auto upload parses the data ?
