Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.
Please vote for the issue on the official bug tracker: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/21258
Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

SakashiroI'd recommend using the Alt-F10 shortcut (works only in solo mode) which takes screenshots at a higher resolution than the actual screen. Combined with the zoom of the camera tool this will get you very nice close-ups of your avatar sitting in the pilot seat. Hi-res shots scaled down with linear interpolation tend to look sharper than shots taken at original resolution. For neutral white lighting, move your ship near a class-A star. For a warmer, sun-tanned look, use a class-G star instead. Note that your avatar's eyes will reflect whatever the cockpit is facing; this also applies to the Holo-Me editor. You can take advantage of this and use a star's reflection to make your eyes more shiny.
Awsome. Thanks for the tip

I want to make a "feature request" that would help players like me a whole lot.
So... I earn my living through piracy, and pirates need to use the blackmarket. Inara has the best "where is the next best bm" implementation of all elite websites afaik, but it could be easily made even better. When you go to galaxy -> commodities and choose lets say LTD, you have several Filters under best import - namely fleet carriers, planetary landing and small pads. It would be AMAZING if you could add a "blackmarket only" filter so that only blackmarkets are shown in the list below. I am no programmer, so I dont know how hard this is to implement, but since there are already filters in place I would surmise it should not be too difficult. It would HUGELY help pirates like me to find the information we need.
You could also show the bm prices instead of the normal when this is toggled, but thats not rly that important.
Thoughts?
Cheers

Could you add an option to remove systemS your player faction is in, on the nearest system tab on a system page.
many are using that page as a tool to gauge Expansion Targets now.
Being able to set it to "Expansion list" or "dont show system we are in" would help very much.
Thanks,
BL1P

ArtieYeah, I think that I can add it there. Without the prices, though (as there are no black market prices outputs for the journals, etc.) and it somewhat copies the regular market prices anyway.
that’s fine. I mean its always -25% (except for pirate guy controlled bm’s) but we can calculate that ourselves. This is amazing, thank you so much!

The reverse would be nice too please, I am only interested in Legal salvage, so a show only legal would be nice too.
Kinda like, Default Both / BM only / Legal only.
if posible.

BaklavahThe mining sales prices are wrong all over the place. One place says "600k", updated like 2 minutes ago. Fly to that system, dock. 100k. Sorry but what the hell?
Probably the prices adjustments are still settling down or you have been affected by the bulk tax. The price 600k was absolutely correct at the time of the update and some commander or multiple commanders saw it there (and so it was also updated). Every 3rd party tool have it that way. Nothing I can do about that aside if displaying observed price range to cover more cases and warn about the low supply levels, to make your life easier. The price was simply there and the rest is on Frontier's shoulders.

Technically, the list is related to the reference star system, so I don't actually reliably know what faction in the selected star system is yours. But I think that I can put some filters for each of the factions present there (which will work a similar way in the end).

I think it's not needed, as probably all stations having the black market are also having a regular market. So you can completely ignore the black market presence there, as the regular market will be always there.

Some FCs only sell the Items as stolen and I am not interested in stolen salvage goods as they are easy to get.
Being able to filter out all stolen Items (items sold via the Secure Market thing on FCs) would really help when doing searches.
Maybe this isnt possible.
Though I do notice that you are able to place a small skull Icon next to all stolen goods or next to all items sold via the secure market thing (however the code does it). So I thought filtering it would work too.
But I am not a coder
Once again thank you for your replies and hard work !

ArtieThe black markets listings in general are a problem. From the regular journals, there are no outputs for the black markets (either the stations or fleet carriers). From the Frontier's cAPI endpoint may be theoretically possible to get the fleet carrier's black market data, but it's currently broken (it lists the regular market data but when the black market is installed, it lists the black market data, but not a regular market). So, at least until Frontier fix that problem, getting the black market data for carriers is difficult without breaking anything else. After this will be fixed - yes, that may be useful.
Rgr that !

I certainly don't HAVE to keep up, that's on me, but I hate to miss good discussion and even catching up can be hard.

- The existing general talk was renamed to "Game talk" - there should go any discussion related directly to the game and is somehow related to the gameplay.
- A new thread "General talk" was created - there should be any other Elite related discussion.
- Another new thread "Offtopic" was created - I think its name is self-explanatory.
