Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.
Please vote for the issue on the official bug tracker: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/21258
Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

Actually I just read some info on FCMS guide on their discord that might explain the cause for this issue:
There's also the option to show the items the carrier is buying or selling on the market page, which can be hidden by the owner. Due to limitations with FDev's cAPI, you won't see all items. Thargoid commodities are among these items.
And for your question I created buy orders for Meta-alloys, Tritium and every type of Thargoid item on same session and then I requested update on Inara.
Yeah, that may be really a cause. It worths to be reported to Frontier then.
MC MadmanI was looking for a tool that would let you plan an optimized route to visit engineers that you pick based on your current location. Sort of an Engineer run planner. Maybe this is a feature that Inara could add in the future, or would that be more of a feature for eddb or such? Artie, what do you think?
It may not be a bad idea. Not an exact route planner, system by system (there is no need for that as it's easily available in the game and engineers are relatively close to each other within the Bubble (Colonia aside)), but some list like "visit the engineer X first, craft A, visit the engineer Y second, craft B and so on" based on your crafting lists set (and distances) may be useful. I will add that on ToDo.

lately I've started mucking with BGS and found out the number of won days in Election/War/Civil war can't be seen in Inara. I have to go to different site to see those.
Would it be possible/feasible to show this information?
Maybe as on-mouse-over hint over Election/War/Civil War label in the System, System minor factions table?

Yes it can, click on the faction involved and select the "Conflicts" tab where it lists all the systems they control. Obviously the data is only as good as that provided by the player base.

MichalfocplIs it just me or when I try to filter out fcs and small pads when searching for stations with a commodity it does nothing?
it worked last night
I just tried both filters (used Tritium as a test case).
Both filters worked as expected.
Hope you get it working again soon.

It is working again indeed. Artie I should say God bless You but since it's You, I say bless Yourself :-)

Thanks, I have completely missed that.

Would it be possible to replace the 'buy' and 'sell' keywords in the market pages - with 'Export' and 'Import'.
There quite often confusion when dealing with "sell / best sell" etc, I do it myself. I see other folks do it as well.
Listing "Sell" when they actually meant to show "where to buy the commodity".
Import / Export has a very distinct meaning. The location either imports something or export something.
Sell / Buy has the confusion of "whether i Sell - or its the location doing the Sell".

agree it can be somewhat confusing at times even when I'm used to it by now

I 100% agree that it is confusing as hell and I always have to stop and think when using markets. Supply / demand are my cues to unfudging my brain.
The problem is it's buy/sell in the game, so Inara matches those words. Which I think is the correct thing to do. Inara does have tips that pop up when hovering over Buy and Sell which clarify the issue. I think Artie has done the best he can on this one.

ArtieYeah, I am using the game terms, where the sell/buy are used always as a "sell to station" and "buy from station", so I am keeping that unified across the listings. But I understand the confusion, I will think about how to improve that while keeping the link to the game. Maybe just the table headers and menus (with export/import) while keeping the column names will do the trick?
Not sure, whether this will help. It is confusing either way, I think. But in this context:
For me it's even more confusing, that the "DEMAND" and "SUPPLY" columns are ordered "wrong": We first see "Best sell" and "Sell" columns, which shows me where I can sell at best price or nearby. The third column then should be (IMHO) "Demand", which shows me where I can sell my commodity too (who needs most of it). So I would say the columns "Demand" and "Supply" have to be switched.

Apologies if this has been asked before...
On my fleet carrier page it says "Visible: nobody" and I'm not sure where this info comes from (or how to change it), any chance you could advise please?
Many thanks

Ah, yes, that's my oversight. It definitely should be swapped.

Hello, it's a default state, no carrier details are visible to anybody but you. You can change it in the fleet carrier edit (Edit button at the header).
