Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

Whiplash 1983Lambast Mercy I'd like to know what NPC pilots are employed and what fighters are installed in the hangers.
I do sympathise with your dilemma. Even in game I can't tell from the inventory what is loaded into which fighter-hanger.
Is the hanger with the Condor the first one or the second one down the list. Let's see I just stored out the one with the javelin so that would be the last one or the one on the bottom, or is it the top. Cripes I'll just have to load it again and see ... . . . .. nope, that's still the javelin... must be the other one. but which one is now the other one. (pulls more hair out)
With all the nit picks I have with Elite, I still enjoy the game and INARA so I think I can cope with the hardships.

Hello, not likely. But what I want to do is to separate commanders from the accounts, so there should be possible to have multiple commanders under a single account (and switch between them easily). No ETA yet.

If you are a last member of your squadron, head to your squadron settings and there is a disband button on the page bottom.

I have two accounts on Inara. One for my PC COmmander and one for my XBOX COmmander. As I was setting up the XBOX one, I made the mistake of linking the wrong email address. Is there a a way to unling that email address so I can use my main xbox profile rather than my secondary one that doesn't play the game (yet)

Yes, just head to your Settings, Reset the link there and connect the correct account then.

Many of the large squadrons basically consist of inactives padding out the numbers, I feel there needs to be sorting on at least the number of systems or stations they own, or some kind of activity measurement where players only count if they are active in a certain time frame, for example either tracked through Inara API or logging into Inara itself, is not perfect but it is something).
A random person can pick a random big player group and be met with mainly inactives bar 2 or 3. It would help groups that are active to get noticed so the community grows better instead of lured into a small group; if they wanted to be in a smaller close knit group, they would had looked for it in the smaller squadrons. Is better for people in existing squadrons, and is better for people looking for a group

Yes, just head to your Settings, Reset the link there and connect the correct account then.

"An error occured or the access was denied. Please try to connect to Frontier Authentication Service again, grant Inara a permission to access your data there or wait a while if the service is offline.
Details: Access denied by user"
Do I need to be online in game when I do it?

If you leave your cursor on the icon the title will show up telling you what they mean. Deerejon is correct, it's Black Market.

It seems you forget to allow Frontier/Inara to access your data, you need to give the permissions required during the process. It's something you should check on the XBL site while connecting the account.
