Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

Pardon us old farts... we get used to things being a certain way and when it changes we call our Congressman...
Keep in Mind I'm a Grumpy Old Man (GOM Collective) and don't like the phone company changing our area code... 
New players may see "Squadron" and click on it and see something different than I do. I click Squadron and see my squadron. I have no idea what new Pilots see...
I've placed our Squadron promotion using the same format for quite a while, now I have to come up with a new format? I appreciate that things change but I had no idea... perhaps adding a link here to take people to the new Bulletin Board? Wherever it is I'll find it...
After posting the new recruiting page I must say I really preferred the old way. The pilot has to know to click on the post to see the entire thing.
People who know how something works have no idea what someone who doesn't has to go through to figure it out. Oh well.

All right, after futzing around with the damned thing I figured out how to keep my original promotion page in the details that Pilots can see AFTER they click on the main post. I just had to announce to CLICK HERE TO SEE MORE.
grumble, mumble, friggin fraggit... damned kids anyhow...

I am finding that the 'auto fill' in the subject box for composing messages no longer picks up any previous entries
Is this deliberate or a bug?

I have recently "upgraded" to Win10 on my browser system and am seeing about running "Light". That means not installing anything I can get by without. That means using IE for the browser, (I know, just stop for a minute). So I assume it has to do with IE but maybe not.
When I post on Inara and use functions like 'Italics' or 'bold' the function produces - "text text text" placing what I am formatting on both ends of the function. Requiring I edit/delete the duplication(s) before posting.
Also IE does not seem to display the strike-through function when employed.
Just some strange things to note.

I will make some minor improvements to make things more obvious, but generally it will stay as is. It seems this solution for the squadron recruitments works better than using forums posts, the number of the squadron join requests quite increased since the feature was introduced.

I have no interest in RP discussion, and scrolling through pages of comment to see if there is something that IS of interest to me in the General/game talk area is tedious.
But, clearly there seems to be an interest in having meta discussion about what goes on in the RP area(s), and there ought to be a convenient place to have/avoid this topic.

This sort of question is better asked in the General forum.
However, the quantity shows how many units/tons are available for sale, when you are buying, or the demand to be satisfied when you are selling.
